not a bad beer goes good with some steak or alone sits alittle heavy in the stomic but its good and strong but should be a lot cheaper for what it is.........

It pours a dark copper with a thin light-tan head and copious lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, light hops, various citrus notes, dark breads, light raisins, brown sugar, and spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, orange and citrus notes, dark breads, raisins, brown sugar, and spiciness. Not a bad creation from Bud.

poured a amber color with off white head. Has a nice aroma which is impressive for a A-B beer. The taste was a little watery and the beer laid heavy in the stomach. There was a slight bitterness in the aftertaste.

Draft. This is what was available and really it’s not all that bad. Amber color and pours with a thin head. The aroma is weak, some corn and grains. Sweet and watery flavors with caramel malting, grains, weak hops. Very thin but still drinkable.

A clear amber coloured beer with very little head. The aroma is weak, but one can ascertain a whiff of malt here and a sniff of hops there. The flavour is full of watered down grainy malt, with a slight bitter finish. Gone is the metallic acidity associated with most BMC beers, but it was replaced with water leaving one wondering what they wasted their money on here.

This is a beer I was excited for. I have had it on draft and in bottle. While trying to give it the benefit of the doubt, I cannot get past the missing taste and unnecessary bitterness at the end. A great color and aroma can be found, but that's where the greatness ends.

This looks great and smells nice. The flavor is pretty bad, though. Anheuser should get back to the the drawing board and come up with something better tasting...it shouldn't take long.

I'll give almost any new beer a chance, bought a sixer when it first came out. More recently had it on tap, as it was the best of a poor beer selection (great music bar, terrible beer bar.) Color is dark amber, small white head. Faint aroma, primarily malt with slight fruitiness. Mouthfeel rather thin. Flavor is toasty malt, with little discernable hop character, finishes cleanly with a faint bitterness. I'll drink it again only in the aforementioned music bar and similar situations.

On draft at the Flyers game, one of the better selections at the time (enough Shocktop or Bass). The pour was light amber in color with an ok head. The aroma was caramel and grains. The flavor followed the aroma, for sure not strong for the style, but not a total bust either. True, a bit light for the style. The finish was relatively clean, though, with a semi-dry character (but no hop punch). An ok lighter beer w/o the adjunct overload.
