View Marston's 61 Deep
Chopz reviewed the beer Marston's 61 Deep
Pours a clean golden colour with a big creamy warm cap, very long lasting and leaving some nice creamy lacing patches and waves. Beautiful aromas of cilantro with the other hops and hints of honey. The taste is a nice mix of this scents. The hoppiness is mild, but present with a balance of grain and honey. Not sweet though. The dryness is very low for a Pale Ale, but there as well, trying to build-up. Pretty easy session Pale Ale that still has something to show. Very drinkable !

Chopz added a beer to Marston's PLC
Marston's 61 Deep, a 4.1% English Pale Ale: 61 Deep. Newest brew on the Burton block. 61 metres. That’s the depth of the well at the Brewery that gives this refreshing pale ale its name. The five American and Australian hops give it its ...

6-pack from the LCBO at a-buck-a-beer. Pours a clean golden colour with an off-white cap that does not stay too long, leaving a tiny coat over the brew. Malty nose with mostly sweetness, hints of corn, apples and cereal. The taste is pretty much the same. I have to admit this one is going down nicer than the others, as it was real cold, but I like to usually rate my beers room temperature. The others were way too sweet, kind of syrupy, that made it hard to finish. If you chug these cold, you might be alright.

View De Leite Cuvée Mam'Zelle
cyrenaica reviewed the beer De Leite Cuvée Mam'Zelle
330ml bottle
7.5% ABV
LCBO # 255 (Milton, Ontario, Canada – Main / Bronte)
June 24, 2019
$4.95
The beer pours a very hazed orange gold colour with a huge frothy white cap which sticks around for a long time. The aroma is tart fruit, vinegar, burnt wood, and yeast. There is an almost tripel-like feel to the aroma. The mouthfeel is dry, medium bodied, and highly carbonated. The flavour is grains, yeast, tart fruit notes, and the oak comes through in the flavour on the back of the tongue. An enjoyable beer, but certainly not a sessionable beer.

View Viven Smoked Porter
Cybercat reviewed the beer Viven Smoked Porter
Pours oily sable with a thick and somewhat persistent tan head. Aroma gives up roast malt, resiny hops, smoky coffee, and a hint of molasses. Flavor yields roast coffee and malt, some smoky character, a little molasses, more than a hint of hops. Texture delivers firm, smooth body and fair fizz. Viven La Porter!

View Evil Twin / Omnipollo Coffenade
Cybercat reviewed the beer Evil Twin / Omnipollo Coffenade
Pours hazy dark apricot with a thick, though ephemeral, ivory head. Aroma provides sharp citrus, roast coffee (are there fresh as well as roasted beans in there?), tangy hops and slightly sweet malt. Flavor has notes of quality coffee, resiny hops, tangy lemon, fresh malt, some citrus tartness, a little hoppy bitterness. Texture yields firm body, peppy fizz - peppier than one might think since the head says Hello and then boogies - and a lemony finish. Coffee + lemonade = serious summer fun!
