8 Wired Tropidelic, a 5.0% American Pale Ale: Our interpretation of a New Zealand hopped pale ale can best be described as Tropidelic. With plenty of exotic fruit flavours from the hops it's an island orchard of fresh fruit salad but with th...

Taps clear yellow, minimal head. Aroma offers minimal fruity and malty tones. Flavor has stronger notes and a hint of hops, but still not great. Mouthfeel delivers so-so body that lacks fizz. Sorry, but won’t buffalo the palate. Better luck next batch.

View Brasserie du Bas-Canada Los Tabarnacos Double - Mangue
Chopz reviewed the beer Brasserie du Bas-Canada Los Tabarnacos Double - Mangue
Can from brewery. Pours a cloudy golden-orange colour, looking like pure juice. The head is off-white, fizzing away quick enough, but leaving a little coat on the brew. Yeast or hops floating all-around, eventually landing at the bottom. Fruity nose with the citrus notes giving some spicy peel hints balanced by the sweetness of the mango and coconut. The taste is mostly juicy with the same from the aromas, but even more blended, so nothing really standing out. Just really juicy and smooth. Super easy to drink and will have again.

cyrenaica reviewed the beer Alechemy Brewing Bring Out The Imp
330ml bottle
10.5% Abv
Bottled On: July 25, 2018
Best before: January 25, 2020
LCBO #457 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Yonge / Eglinton)
December 17, 2018
$3.95
The beer pours a translucent copper hued solid black colour when held up to a strong white light. The cap is light brown in colour, creamy, and about 2cm think. The aroma is roasted nuts, soy sauce, nuts, and oatmeal, and maybe a whiff of alcohol. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is dominated by roasted malt and alcohol with hints of leather/charred wood, coffee, nuts, and dark chocolate. Sadly the leathery taste and the alcohol being so noticeable kill this beer.
