This amber ale has a deep red color and a light carbonation. It has a piney hop aroma along with sweet caramely malt. Full bodied and crisp, this beer has a toasty caramel flavor and fruity and peppery character as well. Definitely one of the more complex and enjoyable ambers out there.

This one falls squarely into the nice style of hoppy amber, which I'm always thankful to find. Lots of grapefruit hops in the aroma kept even by a nice dose of rich caramel malts. Fruity flavor, that's shows off a nice hop profile and a clean sweet malt bill. Speakeasy seems to get overlooked sometimes, but most the beers I've had from them I've quite enjoyed. Good stuff. -

pretty well balanced...nutty malts, and a touch of bitterness and citrus from the hops. floral and nutty on the nose. thin-medium bodied. good looking dark amber beer.

Slight caramel and hops aroma, with little head or lacing. Light to medium-bodied mouthfeel and very quaffable. Nice caramel flavor, with a malted hop finish. Would like to try this again since I drank it out of a dixie cup.

Beer looks nice the color ranges from deep copper to dark brown at the top of my glass to a light copper at the bottom. Tons of micro floaties are ever where in the body giving the beer a hazy appearance. The cap produced during the pour was small but it had great retention. Aroma was very delicious consisting of the typical west coast hops, leather, fuzzy peach candy and some caramel malts for a amber ale the smells phenomenal. Taste is equally complex and tasty; black dirt, floral hops, more fuzzy peach candy and a nice malty presence. This has a great bitterness to it that’s not over the top. What a great brew I could slam this all night.

Thanks, B...this stuff is the shit!
Nice orange beer...I'm not going to say that this is hazy since there seems to be an endless ammount of suspended sediment. The head created was on the small side but has very good retention albiet only just above a skim. Some of slippery lacing. The aroma is very complex and very fragrant with lots of floral hops, a somewhat sweet rich slilght roast malt content, lots of hops (how fuzzy peach candies would taste is they looked 'darker'...I tried to exlpain this to 2 people and they didn't get it but I do so tough titties for you) and a slight spice. Flavour...yes...there is flavour...a crazy ammount. Man, this is a great tasting beer (for me, arguably a 10). Large malt content (sweet, thick biscuit), an odd hop blend that was something that I could not quite figure out but it was very cool - floral, candy and orange (seperate), foam (yes, something tasted foamy)..did I say nice malts already? I've also noticed a slight earthy quality here and there (very faint). A very smooth and creamy beer, medium bodied, great middle to end malts with a nice muted, shortlived bitterness. Excellent beer! -

Bottle courtesy of Piscator34: Poured a clear deep amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with great retention and perfect lacing. Aroma of bitter hops is dominating with little malt discernable. Taste is also dominated by some deep bitter hops with a dry finish. I could not detect a lot of caramel malt as the label suggested. Body is quite full with some great carbonation.

Amber colour, mediumsized foamy white head. Fruits, raisins, malts and hops in aroma. Flavour is strong hops, a bit of raisins and a long hoppy (flowery) aftertaste.
