Rich amber color, nice head, and a rich, robust caramel flavor. A little thick on the aftertaste, but a good beer with a meal. I would buy it again.

Pours a clear, dark coppery amber with a thick, fluffy, pale amber-tan head. Malty aroma has an interesting yeasty overtone and a hint of fresh-cut wood. Refreshing flavor has malty and woody notes plus hints of fruit and yeast, and just a touch of hoppy bitterness. Tastier than the average amber! Smooth texture has average body and fizz, and leaves a rather woody finish. Follow the "beer" to some good beer!

Amber color. Medium amount of white head. Resin, pine and caramel nose. Soft carbonation. Medium and oily body. Sweet with some bitterness. Resin, lemon, citrus, some grapefruit and some cooked vegetable flavor.

355 ml capped bottle. Poured in a stemmed glass an unfiltered and hazy reddish-copper coloured A A with a one finger beige and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is sweety and caramel malts, candy sugar, spicy, orange peels, fruity, plums, red berries , grassy and resinous hops. The flavour is moderate sweety malts, caramel, candy sugar, dried fruits, nuts and a flowery touch, violet. The mouthfeel is creamy, light sticky and smooth. The texture is oily. This medium bodied A A has a dry light bitter and sweety finish. A tasty and characterful Amber Ale from the distant California ( seen from the Old Europe ! ).

Thin pour with ample carbonation. Murky amber body. Smells like strawberries and grain. Good mouthfeel. Sweet, malty flavor. I definitely taste the caramel and crystal malt. I would rather not taste them.

Pours a hazy amber copper like color forming a mid-sized and bubbled creamy head with not long lasting retention and leaving modest lacing in the glass. The aroma is very subtle, with predominantly sweet caramel malts and flowery hops. The taste is slightly sweet upfront with caramel, bread, and roasted malts with light hoppy bitter end. The mouthfeel is light to medium body with good to strong carbonation.

Cans from sam. Spot on clear copper amber pour, tight creamy head, some lacing. Ample light caramel malts offset by adequate earthy light pine hoppiness. For an amber it is very good, very easy to drink and well-crafted. Thanks Sam.

Decent brown ale. Light in texture and appearance, but some good malt and hop content. Balance is nice with smooth quality mouthfeel. One of the better ones in the variety pack.

I could smell a sweet, hoppy aroma as soon as I popped the cap. This is a good start. Quickly dissipating head that leaves some sticky lacing. Smooth, flavourful, really nice, hoppy bitterness. Not overwhelming though. Love the candied hops aroma. Finishes pretty dry, pretty hoppy, and pretty delicious. One of my favorite ambers and a really nice wake-up to an all too often boring style. Surprised its rated so low by so many people.

Ok, this is a never try again type of a brew. I guess if your into tree huggin this eco friendly brewery might just be for you. I wasnt prepared for the burnt flavor of this brew. It was almost like it was brewing and 75% ready for retail. It was darker amber with sediment in the glass. Head deflated but it was ok after the first glass. Amber ale is ok but this was just a little under done. If it was more hopped or choice of hops were different maybe it would have great potential. Just my opinion

12oz can. Pours a clear light amber with a medium rocky off white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet treacly caramel malts, maple and molasses with some toasted malt.

The flavor is the same as the nose - sweet treacly caramel and molasses with some maple and toasted malt and a little fruit. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with slightly sharp carbonation.

Overall, way too sweet for me. I didn't really care for the maple and toasted malts. I can see this as a solid amber, but it totally didn't work for me.
