About:
I enjoy many old world beer styles. Brown, Red, Scottish and Pale ales. I love German Hefe, Dunkel, Trappiste Ale, Stouts. I like Barleywines from all over. I dont like mass produced American rice beer at all. I do like to sample micro brew and small brewy type styles. I love to enjoy these fine brews amongst good friends.

this brew had no hints of alcohol, and was very clean upon the nose. Hints of dark fruit and light chocolate permeate. Very middle of the road in terms of crunch in the mouth. Overall a hearty well built brew that would be consistent go to during any time you feel you need to awaken you beer senses from the norm. I tip of the hat to lost coast brewery for willing to pave the way with this imp. stout. Very good guys!

This was an amazing brew. Black as the depths of the sea as it says. Malty richness with hints of cocoa. Nice latte colored head. real nice!! the high alcohol content doesn't shine through and makes this a pleseant tasting brew. Pours nice and is a little thick. The mouthful is nice and crunchy very tasty and very extreme. I really love the Bigfoot, but I just found the new love, I love the Narwhal....

OK this one was a doozy. It was spiced in all the wrong places. I like the intent and after one the second went down smooth. The festive brews always scare me as I don't like too much "spice" in my brew. I must say iot does go well with turkey and stuffing. No one else would try this. There were nice notes of floral, and then a hoppy note as well. In the mouth the malts were present but it was more like drinking a SN then a SA.

This one was like a marishino cherry soda. It was not heavy like a stout and was very easy to drink. I got this in the brewmaster pack and most of those beers were quite good. Im not a huge SA fan but this one was a good tasting and refreshing brew for a hot Hawaiian thanksgiving.

I like me some Scottish ale. This one was a great and awesome brew. I was blown away that the roasted malt and the alcohol mixed so well with each other. The brew in the mouth was incomparable. You could really taste the traditional and the passion in this brew. The color was that of 40 weight motor oil and it was quite thick. there was no strong flavor of alcohol and it was sweet on the back end. I do want to have this again but it is quite pricey at $6.75 American for 11.5 oz. In all a fabulous brew that I would like to try brew on my own. Fingers crossed.
