Amazing. I had no clue it was 10% until I went review it. And frankly, this was a really pleasant surprise. In my mind, an impy stout that tastes like it should. I have nothing bad to say about this fine offering.

Really malty, and not all that 'hoppy' for a DIPA. I know it's an East Coaster, but still. Smooth and tasty, but too sweet and malty to be a classic. Where's the hoppy aroma?!

Batch 052212. Glorious pop! Soapy head, nice lacing, pale gold in a glass. Immediate aroma, lots of yeast. Wow. Nice spice. Cloying, almost banana, nice hop profile. Prolific! One of the best American Belgian ales I've had. Dry, mouth-watering flavour that lasts for minutes. Great>

Almost embarrassed to admit how much I like this. Almost. I'm told it's Sam Adams, but dammit, it's excellent. I know it's dessert fruit cider, but dammit, it's excellent. I know it's too early in the morning to be drinking this...

I'm admittedly a big fan of Driftwood. I think that this side of the border, they're easily the best in the West. And they seem to be just getting started. This beer was really excellent. Pricy, but a good gateway sour. Tart, barnyard flavours, sour apple/cherry, but intoxicating!
