Pale golden colour, light bodied, an average / run of the mill lager in every sense. Nothing offensive about it, but Peroni Nastro Azzurro is better. It's so average it could be named "Neville Chamberlain" without bringing shame to the name.

Bottle. Colour - clear pale gold, lots of effervescence, short lived frothy white head, decent lacing. Aroma - biscuity malt, wet cardboard, and musty hops. Mouthfeel - thin to medium bodied, a definite watery mouthfeel at times, and well carbonated. Flavour - nicely balanced between the stale malty sweetness, and the bittering hop finish. Better than a North American macro, but not by much.

Pours an uninspiring clear yellow, and there is not much head. Aroma is weak and malty. Flavor is malty and has some bitterness, but there is no depth - it tastes no different from a hundred other lagers that I have tried. At least it is not watery like some American macro-brews.

Light yellow, clear with lasting pure white foam head. sweet aroma, so is taste, top sweet for a pilsener. Had this beer many times, not a good promtion for the fine Italan beers that are availbalbe. (Rome 201205)

Pours a light golden colour with a hint of white head that disappears pretty quickly. The beer leaves some hints of lacing on the glass though. The aroma is light grainy, but decently fresh if compared to other industrial lagers. A slight floral hint from the hops. The taste is pretty much what the smell suggested, crisp, grainy malts with some light floral notes, expecially on the tongue. Decently refreshing and overall nicely balanced on the bitter/sweet combination. No unpleasant metallic bitterness. The mouthfeel is light body and quite watery mouthfeel, with a nice amount of carbonation. Over all this is a very simple and decently refreshing beer, and it does not have any major flaws.

Euro-lager pale yellow pour, almost bright yellow, medium to short white head, no lacing, well-carbonated. Stale grain aroma, very slightly skunked, weak hops, slightly sweet malts. Taste is a tad skunked also, with underwhelming light sweet maltiness and hops. Thankfully it was really cold.

The Italians should stick to wine. Golden color in the glass, no real aroma. Slight taste of anisette. Not sure why that stood out, but it did. Not a good beer at all.

Aroma of grass and slight biscuits, with a one finger head and decent lacing. Light bodied mouthfeel, with a slightly sharp, bitter hops flavor and a malted aftertaste.

Wanted it to be so much more but the best I can say about this beer is that it is light. It has a little malty clean flavor but for the most part it is a subpar expensive beer

I have no problem ordering this beer at an Italian restaurant. I think I even bought a six-pack of it once a while back. A borderline light lager, but not too skunky or swillish. Has a sweet slight malty taste, bits of corn....but smooth and crisp. Wouldn't be a bad lawnmower beer as well.

still just a lager, but for the style it's fantastic. very clean, crisp, refreshing, and a little dry on the finish. a little sweet malt in the nose and light flavor. great with food.
