330 ml can, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 10.5%. Dark brown to black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of dark malts, chocolate and loads of maple syrup. Very sweet flavour, maple syrup galore, roast malts, chocolate and oak.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 5.5%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine. Citric mouthfeel. Grapefruity flavour with pine needles and resin, medium dry, a hint of tropical fruits, very bitter aftertaste.

500 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.9%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Dusty and grainy aroma. Malty flavour, noticeable alcohol, decent herbal hops, reasonably bitter finish.

330 ml can, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 13.4% Pitch black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast malts, coconut, lactose, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Warming mouthfeel. Very sweet (too sweet) flavour with the same elements. Won't buy again.

Rerate, 500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger, as Zywiec Original Beer. ABV is 5.6%. Yellow/golden colour, decent head. Strong sweetish aroma, notes of candy, pilsener malts and a certain fruitiness. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is not as sweet as the aroma makes me fear. There is a noticeable maltiness, with very discrete hops in the finish. OKish, easy drinking. Original rating: Draught in Krakow. I think it was called Zywiec Pils on the (English) drinks list, but I presume this is the same beer. Golden colour, moderate head, moderate carbonation. A fairly decent standard pils in my book. Rerate: 500 ml can, as Żywiec Premium, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Clear golden colour, large to moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of pilsener malts and herbal and floral hops. Medium sweet flavour, notes of malts, honey, a hint of caramel, moderate herbal hops.
