Has a small frothy off-white head and an amber/coppery appearance. Leaves nice patchy lacing. Aromas are light breads, grassy, nuts and also has some herbal hops. Flavours are mostly a good mix between hops and malts. Light grains and toasty malts with earthy, floral hops, maybe a bit heavier on hops side. Bitterness is there and not offensive at all. Pretty smooth mouthfeel with a fairly slick, chalky sensation. Pretty darn good and real easy going down. Has that hoppy feel to it but it's not overpowering.

Single bottle from the LCBO with a best before date written on crown, 09/01/15. Pours a hazy golden-orange colour with a big frothy white head, great retention and dirty foamy lace. Wow... aromas of fresh hops with the grapefruit, pine needles and sweet caramel and bread malts. Medium-bodied, going on the light side, so goes down nicely with a little dryness from the hop. The taste is similar to the nose, with the mild bitter grapefruit hops well-blended with the fruity malts. Seems more like a Pale Ale than a lager for sure.

Pours a hazy golden colour with a huge foamy white head that lasts till the end. Leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is grassy and lemon. Breaded malt flavour, citrus fruit and a touch of spice. Quite a hop bitterness in the finish for a larger. Medium smooth mouthfeel. Nice beer but is it a larger and whats it’s real name.

The beer pours a hazed orange-gold colour with a generous rocky light tan coloured head. Aroma is very citrusy with some grass in the mix. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is well balanced with the malty backbone balanced balanced by the bitter citrus flavours of the hops. A very good beer, very unlager-like though.

Part of the 2013 Summer LCBO Release. A clouded golden orange pour topped with a huge white head, just like you see on a Canadian beer commercial. Aroma is slightly more citrusy than your typical Canadian lager. Flavour is quite malty, yet the hops are definitely present. Great job Mikkeller!

330ml bottle from LCBO - pours a hazed orange-gold with a massive meringue white cap. Aromas of citrus, peach and bready malts. Medium carbonation silky mouth feel, rounded mellow character. Flavour has sturdy bready malts in good balance with Pac.NW hops - bread, citrus, light sweetnes, hint of stone fruit. Clean lightly bitter finish. Wow! What a quaffing beer! Like Anchor Liberty with more malt spine and better smoothness - hoppy, malty, very drinkable - Mikkeller nailed the Canadian dream.
