Le Prospecteur Trifopoivrée
A refreshing Saison with three peppers, just wish they were stronger overall to warm things up for this cold winter night. 1 day ago -
Noctem Onde de Choc
A nice Imperial IPA that is smooth, but with lots of zesty citrus notes and mild bitterness. 1 day ago -
Brasserie du Bas-Canada Oscillation B2
Quite a good, complex barrel-aged Barleywine with the Bourbon, lots going on, with a nice finish. 2 days ago -
Messorem Frigorifié et Précaire

Purple Skull Purple Kölsch
Easy-drinking, refreshing and kind of unique with the purple corn - but nice to not be too corny. 3 days ago

Lightly hazy, golden colour with an amber hue, a white frothy head, average retention and some sticky lacing spots, and a foamy ring on the brew. Mineral notes in the nose with a touch of mintiness, grassiness, piney-oranginess - so lots going on, but a little strange. The taste is a little more West Coast with citrus zest, piney notes, mild caramel and good dryness in the end. A tad pineapples and the mint again. Kind of a weird, unbalanced West Coast IPA that still works, but had better for the style, from this brewery.

Lightly hazed, bright golden-yellow colour with a white cap, average stay and nice tiny lacing streaks. Very small pepper particles floating around. Aromas of citrus, Saison yeast, herbal notes and peppery hints. Mineral flavours with the citrus zest, juices, herbs, yeast and mild pepper. A refreshing Saison - just wish the three peppers used here would be a touch punchier, warming away for winter.

Hazy golden colour with orange highlights, a big, creamy-frothy, warm-whitish head and lots of lacing left. Citrus aromas with notes of tropical fruits, mild grass and oats. Flaky particles fall to the bottom. Smooth mouthfeel with a little tart, and a drying finish. Lemon-orange zest flavours with a herbal touch, light spices and decent bitterness. A nice Imperial IPA with lots of citrus zestiness, some tartiness and mild bitterness.

Fairly clean, bright yellow colour with a white frothy-creamy head, good retention and soapy lacing. Piney, herbal aromas with a touch of perfume, citrus. The taste shows the pine notes, with some good grassy-herbs hoppiness lingering with a drying finish. Gets a little hazy as it pours. Quite a nice, Session West Coast Pale Ale that does not feel like 2.5% ABV.

750ml bottle that pours a dark brown colour with light ruby-copper highlights, a mocha-coloured head that sticks around a bit, with decent lacing spots. Big, rich aromas of sweet malts giving chocolate notes, raisins, maple and caramel. The taste shows dark fruits, molasses, roasted malts, caramel, with coconut hints and the warming Bourbon. The richness is cut with a bitter, drying finish. The mouthfeel is quite oily and silky. A tad of wood is left on the tongue. Quite complex, with lots going on, but nicely balanced with a good end.
