Draft. Colour – clear, mahogany, generous foamy head. Aroma – caramel, yeast, Christmas spices. Mouthfeel – Average. Flavour – sweet and malty, caramel and molasses can be found, finish is bitter. Quite enjoyable for a Christmas beer.

Draft. Colour – clear, amber, off-white head. Aroma – light caramel, bread, yeast, light citrus. Mouthfeel – thin, well carbonated. Flavour – light caramel, bread, and bitter hops, maybe even somewhat of a burnt taste. Nothing I would reach for again.

Draft. Colour - cloudy, gold, frothy white head. Aroma – grass, ginger, perfume. Mouthfeel - thin. Flavour – this is a ginger bomb, one can almost feel powdered ginger spice on the tongue. All other flavours are completely hidden

Bottle. Colour – clear, golden-amber, head is white and fluffy. Aroma – biscuit malt, molasses, maple, earthy hops. Mouthfeel - Average. Flavour – Nicely balanced between the sweetness of the maple and caramel and the bitterness of the hops. Only available in big bottles and is very rich.

Bottle. Colour - clear amber, white head, no lacing. Aroma - cereal malt, caramel, yeast. Mouthfeel - thin, good carbonation. Flavour - grains, light caramel, bitter finish. A beer from when Great Lakes was a lesser idealized brewery than now.
