Pretty good ale to have on a hot summer day serve red ice cold. I was surprised to learn it was a Belgian beer because it doesn't have the full flavor of other Belgians. This would be a great beer to introduce pale lager drinkers into upping them into better quality brews.

At the Town Crier, Toronto. Pours a huge foamy head and has a clear amber appearance. Aromas of malted barley, yeast and light wheats. Flavours of malts, grains, mild earthy hops and a little bit of spices. Also some fruity notes. fairly wet mouthfeel. Slightly slick sensation. Very much light bodied. Not too bad, but pretty average for a Belgian pale.

Had this at the Bier Markt in Queensway. Pours a dark orange amber colour with a frothy white head. There was good retention and lacing. Carmel aroma. Flavour is toffee, light hoppiness and flowery. The mouthfeel was lighter but smooth. Once was enough I think.

Nice golden amber pour, decent head, average lacing. Light caramel aroma with some earthy hops, light fruits. Decent amber-type flavor, sweetened grains, lightly hopped. Decent brew.

Well.....for a Belgian, not one of the better ones....but overall a decent beer. Even a "bottom of the road" Belgian is better than the average domestic amber. I was happy to pay under $2 anyways, so wasn't expecting the world on this one. Some fruity and hoppy flavors in the background, otherwise would be just ehhh. Balance works nice. Appearance nothing special, clear light brown with semi-creamy off-white head. Aroma slightly sour and skunky, but the fruitiness evens it out some. Glad to try so I will know what to expeect in the future.

This is a light, amber beer, but it's no Belgian. A medium sized, off white head rises briefly after the pour then settles into a thick soapy ringlet. Mouthfeel is thin. Sour, bready malts predominate. The finish is clean and grassy. Eh... skip it.

Looking for something to drink on a warm, slow afternoon. This is a light translucent amber colored beer. A medium sized, frothy textured, off white head rises briefly above. It settles into a thick soapy ringlet. This is all about Bready, caramel malt and grassy hops in nose and on tongue. It leans more toward the sweet side in a well carbonated, full bodied crisp beer.

Saw this in local package store - gave it a whirl. Attractive label. Nice copper orange pour. Nose is caramel, hops. Subtle. Bare hint of a head with light lacing. No after taste. This is a good drinkable beer, amber ale. More in the fridge-will update.
