Abandoned Building Blue Barn Saison
Surprise and awe when I found this in my local package store, had to try it! Was not disappointed. Unfiltered light golden pour with a thick tight 1 in head that lasts. A slight musty caramel note in the nose. Excellent lacing that follows down the glass. The traditional Saison funk not to heavy, I found it to be a very good drinkable refreshing Saison. Will have to try more, as this style is one of my favorites. 4 stars 6 years ago

A nice drinkable Wit. Not overbearing. Flavor balance of sour, spice, fruit a little wheat/ nice. Refreshing in the usual Wit style. Very pale yellow pour with a thin head the quickly fades, I will have to try more to see if this is standard.

Very good as a Belgian pale ale or table beer. Light and refreshing not to much brett funk going on. I like it. Altho I do like brett funk in Belgian beer. Nice coppery yellow pour with a nice nose of brett and fruit. Easy on the palate with good finish. Clean. Will look for more.

Just another lager - some biscuit a little hops and malt, better than your million gallon average swill brewery. Seems to have funny gummy aftertaste. Not much here for me to rave about. Other offerings from Anchor Steam will get front billing.

Whats not to like? Rich malty goodness rising up into my nose. Chokolate, caramel, bready , dried fruits. Difficult to evaluate while I am drinking- just soooooo tasty. Like drinking bread- Thick, rich and chewy. So good German Bratvurst and potatoes with butter and parsley. Yeah, I could live on this!
