About:
I'm a middle aged family man who loves a good beer. From my first potable umqombothi in Swaziland as a Peace Corp volunteer, through the years of cheap beers, I have arrived at a point where I want to try every brew out there. The creamy dark stouts and porters are my favorites, but I an eager to learn how in a more European sense the pairing of good brew with great food.

A bright golden colored beer with a big frothy textured, white head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. A thing ringlet and light splotches of film are left A sweet, grainy nose. Very light sweet malt and fainter grassy hops. On second reading, as this lager sits, more earthy, grassy hops coms through in the tasting. The body is full. But this beer is holding back. It still could benefit from more punch in the flavoring

A dank, murky yellow golden colored beer. A big soapy textured, white head rises above. it is short lived. leaving no lacing. The nose is reminiscent of a lemon shandy. The tea comes forward if muted in the tasting. The lemon helps to balance the sourness one would expect of the style. In it's bold bubbly effervescence it is true to a Berliner Weisse. Nice and refreshing

A deep ebony colored beer with a big creamy textured deep brown head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. A thin tinglet is left. Deep notes of alcohol and roasted malt in the nose. Burned caramel in the tasting. Full bodied and resinous slickness

A bright amber colored beer with orange highlights. A moderate white, creamy textured head rises above. there's decent hang time on that head, with a moderate ringlet. Good yeasty spiciness, dark fruits, sugar and bready malt in the total profile. Interesting complexity that is left alone at the altar by a watery characteristic.
