I absolutely love this beer. Great nose, good clear amber appearance, close to a perfect mouthfeel, the flavor is just perfect and overall the only problem with the beer is I can't get it in Oklahoma. I have to drive to Sedona to get it. I give the wife the credit card to go shopping and I sit in the brewery and drink as much beer as is prudent.....all afternoon. Have fun fellow beer lovers!

another non-offensive but very simplistic brew from Oak Creek. I enjoyed it more than several other beers I've rated right around, but it's just too simple (like a carmel malt kit) to score average or better. really no hops to speak of, maybe even less than the brown. Semi-sweet malt flavor is a little muddled. Again, not a bad beer, but like something one would make with a kit.

Bottle courtesy of rustychiles. Pours copper with a creamy white head. Smells earthy with a hint of sweet malt. Tastes of dry malt, some spice, a touch of earthiness on the finish.

a very good red. not bitter in the slightest, which i found suprising... but i really enjoyed it. overall not bold or anything, but its smooth and has a good taste (for an amber) and doesnt make you wish you tried something else

Re-rates: This thing isn't that sweet, despite lacking any hops. It has a nutty, almost amber lager type twist, pretty crisp, somewhat dry, with a firm malt presence. Original rating: Nothing bad to say about this one, other than the fact that the hops were underplayed. The aroma was of strong caramel, somewhat sweet. The flavor was much the same, although the caramel got to me after a while: too sweet (theme here w/ OC). The mouthfeel wasn’t as sticky and the sweetness wasn’t really cloying.... just overdone, but drinkable.

Medium amber color, medium head. Mildly malty, slightly sweet, even somewhat fruity. Lighter tasting amber ale, slightly hoppy. Lighter body and lighter flavor. Good taste. Mouthfeel is full and smooth. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. Light and refreshing beer.

Nice looking enough: clear amber color, nice white head; however, looks can be a bit deceiving. The flavor isn't much more than water. A slight bite up front w/ watery finish.

Clear dark amber color, generous head and lace. The nose is malt, the middle clean, the finish slightly dry. Can't say I care much for this beer, "Wimpy", but still refreshing none the less, as I see it any beer you can see through is a "Lite" beer.
