About:
Not really a commercial beer drinker. In fact, quit drinking for 17 years because beer was just so uninteresting and I never cared for wine or whiskey or the crowds who abused them. Today, there are some really great brews out there that are being re-discovered plus the really great micro-breweries. Love'm man!

Beer rating is subjective, but I believe those who like Smithwick's would agree. This is a better tasting ale than Guiness, and I like Guiness. I just happen to love Smithwick. It is consistently good. No lingering bitter after taste, no "knock the nose off your face" aroma. The first sip is just as surprising as the last sip and I'll take it over any beer in the house. It goes well with dinner and you can have more than one and not worry about walking out under your own steam. Enjoy friends!

I absolutely love this beer. Great nose, good clear amber appearance, close to a perfect mouthfeel, the flavor is just perfect and overall the only problem with the beer is I can't get it in Oklahoma. I have to drive to Sedona to get it. I give the wife the credit card to go shopping and I sit in the brewery and drink as much beer as is prudent.....all afternoon. Have fun fellow beer lovers!

Big Jamoke is a dandy Porter brewed by the Marshall Brewery in my hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. This surprising brew has a good nose, subtle head, really nice dark color with a great taste that dosen't dissappoint. The ABV is not at all noticeable in the nose and certainly not overwhelming on the palate. No aftertaste in this surprising micro-brewed Porter that I would give as a Christmas gift to anyone who cares as much as I do about a great beer. I'm proud to give a hometown brew a good rating because they earned it. I hope the Marshall Brewing Company's reach hits your retailer soon no matter what state you live in. Enjoy my friends.

This little bulldog of a stout doesn't want to go quietly into the night. I loved both glasses of this brew. I could have easily gotten carried away.....literally. This stuff is a great little stout with a big taste. I would serve it to my friends for any occasion. The alcohol punch doesn't dissappear after the first drink. It's there from start to finish. Enjoy!

What a terrific surprise. This very delicious, drinkable brew was full of pleasant surprises. The pour was smooth with an ever so slight carbonation and a perfect creamy sliver of a head that remained throughout from start to finish. The flavor was consistent from top to bottom featuring all of the best of what I've come to expect from an Imperial Stout. The initial alcohol taste quickly fades to the background as the hints of chocolates and coffees suddenly surface on the tongue. A top shelf stout I would highly recommend to any beer lover. This is not a beer for consumption during a football game. It's a two pint beer. One before dinner and one during. Then call it quits or you'll go into a coma.
