One of the many batch beers that Magic Hat has come up with and that I've tried. Sadly, none of them have been outstanding. This is an amber coloured beer with a thin fast fading cap. Aroma is sweet malt and fruits. Flavour has a bitter component to it, but it does not taste like hops.

This brew pours the color of a strong tea, dark in color but very clear. Nice tall head that fades to a very nice lace to the end of the glass. Aroma caught me off guard (in a good way0. Hops! but a nice aroma to it. Spice, pine and orange in the mix that comes to my nose, not overpowering but complementing to the brew. The taste is smooth and very nice. The zing from the hops is all up front but the beer gives a slight change to roasted malt in the middle but the flavor is taken back over by the hops. I really enjoyed this brew. It has a nice mixture of flavors with a different side (type) of hops that I haven’t had or had this way yet. Easy to drink, very enjoyable. I wonder if this will be produced without being in a mixer?

Fairly dark amber color with off-white, almost tan semi-thick head. Very Nice citrus aroma. The taste is quite hoppy - more than expected. Because of the hoppiness, it might not be as drinkable for some. It is classified as an amber but it closely resembles a IPA. If you like citrus/apricot flavor, Magic Hat is where its at. They have nearly perfected the apricot flavored beer (try their #9 which is less hoppy).

A decent take on the style, although simple and somewhat boring. The pour was very nice: lots of carbonation over the amber colored body. Nice creamy head and the lacing was phenomenal. The aroma was mostly hops, a peppery citrus with very light pine. The flavor was lightly malted (could have been more complex) with some caramel and grainy notes. Hopping was citrus, some light apricots, mildly musty, and with black pepper notes. Mouthfeel was average, although quite dry. Pretty darned drinkable.

Came with the summer sampler pack I purchased (it was the "mystery beer"). Pours a brownish, amber color. Small head and a little lacing. As the case with a lot of Magic Hat beers, it was pretty sweet and fruity. Maybe a little too sweet but still a solid beer. A nice amount of hops to go with a citrus fruity flavor make it enjoyable and pretty easy to drink. I'd definitely have it again.

I had this at a party, having no clue what it was. It was easy to drink with light hops and fruit flavors along with the Magic Hat touch. Nothing much to complain out in this beer, but not the most amazing either.

Poured an amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, orange peel, grapefruit, floral hops, caramel malts, light pine and some heather tips. Taste of citrus fruits, some toffee, lemongrass, and light nuts. Finished with medium bitterness.
