Poured a reddish brown color with a small, tan collar, no lacing on the glass. Aroma of oxidation, cocoa, roasted malts, and faint spiciness. Taste of chocolate, light roasted malts, some smoke and dried fruits, with more spices, and oxidation in the finish.

[Draft @ Max’s] Poured a dark amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of rye, very bready, with some caramel, and nuts as well. Taste was much of the same, strong rye, with nuts and caramel. A nice showcase of a rye beer, without the caraway spicings.

[Draft @ Max’s] Poured a hazy, orange color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of brett, sour cherries, some toffee, and some toasty dough. Taste of more sour cherries, with earthy, yeast, some toffee, and a sour finish. Soft mouthfeel.

Poured a cloudy golden color with a medium sized, tight, creamy, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of tart citrus, banana, clove, hay, sweat, and lemongrass. More lemongrass in the taste, with some banana, clove, buttercream, citrus, vanilla, toffee, and a lactic sourness. Sour finish as well.

Poured a murky brownish red color with a thin ring of tan bubbles, no lacing on the glass. Aroma of wood, grapes, raisins, soy, red apple, and sweet caramel. Taste was near cloying, with the caramel and toffee sweetness, tart dried fruits, brown sugar vanilla, light bourbon, and a chewy mouthfeel.
