Named after the cream colored bricks used to build Milwaukee, this amber pale ale is tasty year round. Pours a light amber with a frothy, stable white head. The light citrus, grapefruit nose comes from American hop varieties, while caramel malts lend a backbone to their crisp, balanced bitterness. Finishes smooth with mild hop flavor. Try this one with salads, cheeses, or any rich, fatty food. Ideal Serving Temp: 52-54° F

Yet another Lakefront brew via PfoxyJohn. Orange gold color with white head, nice lacing. Grapefruit and light fruity aroma and initial taste, light honeysuckle, requisite malt presence, nice clean bitter linger with grapefruits and citrus predominate. Very easy, creamy and refreshing. Thank Mister Pfister.

An orange tinted amber colored beer with a moderate sized white head that rises briefly above. Settles into fairly thick ringlet. Citric and fruity floral in the nose. Ditto in the tasting with some sweet fruity orange and light caramel malt. Light medium bodied with a nice creaminess.

It pours a slightly hazy and bubbly amber and burnt-orange with a half-inch thick white head and some surrounding lacing. A sweet aroma of caramel malts, hops, oranges and citrus, peach and apricot, slight bitterness and mild spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth, thick, and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, oranges and citrus, peach and apricot, bitterness and mild spiciness. Mmmm...

surprised at the high ratings. mine sure didn't taste liberally hopped. it had an average aroma for the style, with an off putting bitter flavor. not a good pale. i wish i got the same beer some of these others rated. bottled 5/09.

One of the best pale ales I have had. Light copper color with hoppy aroma. Good hop bitterness but not over the top, finishes smooth with a slight bitter aftertaste. Excellent.

From a bottle. Pours a clear copper/dark yellow with a white head. Aroma is light and hoppy. Flavor is well balanced. Nice pale that doesn't overdo the hoppiness that many seem to do. Enjoyed this beer quite a bit. Nothing exciting or unique about, just an overall good beer.

Pours a hazy amber with a lasting off-white head. The aroma is genuinely hoppy, a little spicy, but it’s not as strong as would be expected for an IPA. For an APA, it’s appropriate. Decent maltiness. Appropriate hop flavor and bitterness. Not too shabby.

This was tasty. It reminded me of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Poured an amber color with a little head and lots of lacing. Good mouthfeel. It had a strong hoppy flavor with carmel malt flavor. A nice beer worth trying.

Aroma is crisp with bittering hops coming through as well as some nice malty sweetness with slight grapefruit. Appearance is a bronze-orange in color with a full head on top that is frothy and a bleach-white in color and remains on top. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with quality hoppy complexity as well as caramel malt balance with a palate that is clean and crisp. Flavor is of hoppy bitterness upfront with dry-like tendencies with an aftertaste that turns wet-like and boast caramel malt overtones and sweetness with a finish that is clean and sharp and very good. Overall, this brew started out subpar to boring with it soon becoming evident this was a stellar brew and this brewery continues to surprise me; the products are just rock solid and stylistically speaking--classic examples.
