A dull cloudy yellow colored beer with a moderate frothy textured, white head rising above. A moderate hang time on this one. Settles into a well formed soapy ringlet and light dusting of film. The nose and to a greater extent is the skunkiness of sweet corn. A light body and well carbonated. Overall, it was okay.

light gold with white head minimal lace. Smells skunky, grass and chemical, smells like adjunct city. thin mouth, carbonation so so, tastes like grapefruit rind with acetone, just screams do not drink me!

Overall it wasnt as bad as I expected, but pretty average overall. Mid yellow body, lots of carbonation that left a decent amount of lace. Aroma of malts, grass and upon one smell a hint of apple appeared. Flavor had a slight metallic presence and malts followed. Average European lager.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown bottle into a pint glass. Appearance: It has a average size white, foamy head. It doesn't make much lace on the glass and fades to just a thin cap covering a golden colored body with good clarity and visible carbonation. Smell: The aroma has a pleasant floral and grassy hop character with a very nice mild malt note. Taste/Mouth feel: It is crisp up front. Malt flavor is earthy and biscuity with a very mild sweetness that mixes with grassy and floral hops. The hops fade into the dry finish with nice mellow bitterness from the hops. Its body is light with a wet and fizzy texture from the carbonation. Notes: Overall it had a nice clean flavor and aroma with an easy drinking body and texture.

For the most part this was an average lager. It poured a pale yellow coloring with no head and a fine bit of lacing. There was a slight aroma to the beer. The taste was average as far as lagers go...not bad but yet nothing special.

Pale yellow colour, mediumsized head. Malt and hops in aroma. Flavour is smooth malty and hoppy. Still nothing to be really excited about. Is very clean though.

09.12.05 500ml bottle. Pale straw with pure white head of thinly spread marshmallow fluff, quickly fading to trace of lasting white film, sheeting lace. Aroma is quite oxidized, so is the flavor. Nonsense. This stuff is dry grass, cardboard, and something chemical and nasty. Lots of grossness and a damned persistent aftertaste and slick film of hate left all over the palate. Horrible. Congratulations, my first 0.5.

Bottle. Golden colour with a slim white head. Aroma of straw and malts. Taste is quite refreshing, but bordering on the offensive. Some sweetness, some hops but also plenty of ’chemicals’. Quite acidic, highly carbonated and pretty thin.

The best from Kalnapilis!!! One of my most favorite beers. Attractive golden color, light and delicate bitter flavor, soft slghtly sweet head. Perfectly combined taste, nicely expressed flavor of malt and hops. Extremely good lager! You should try it!
