About:
I have been a teacher for over 30 years and love it. I like football (go Bills!), hockey (go Sabres!) and baseball (go Yankees!). Music is a big part of my life whether it be listening or performing. I enjoy all genres of music. I have sung in a number of groups ranging from large classical choral groups to taking the lead in a Motown/60's revival group. I also play trombone (and dabble with a couple of other instruments). I am heavily involved in the marching band and drum corps activity, too. I enjoy sampling beers and enjoyed my trips to the UK, stopping at pubs all over. Travel, walking, hiking, old movies (film noir/classic comedies) and drawing (cartooning) are other things I enjoy. I really enjoy relaxing on my patio with a good book, the radio and a cold one (or two or more!).

This poured a nice looking dark amber color with a good sized head. The aroma had a pleasant malty spin and a hint of citrus, but not too much. The taste was quite smooth and enjoyable as well. This is well worth a try!

I really liked the dark coloring of this brew, the nearly pitch black appearance and good sized head. The aroma was quite agreeable of roasted malts. While the pub's flyer said there was a taste of coccoa I honestly didn't pick up on that.

Down the line I thought this was very average for a pale ale. The appearance was a nice copper color with a thin head and lacing. There wasn't much to the aroma, just a slight sweet hint. The taste was fair enough but nothing new or different. It was enjoyable.

I enjoyed the sweet aroma of this brew.....very citrus-like. The cloudy yellow-orange coloring was very inviting. The taste was quie smooth and enjoyable, as there was a fun sweet aftertaste that was very enjoyable. It paired very nicely with a BBQ sandwich.

Admittedly, I am not a huge fan of IPA's but this had a very, veyr bitter taste and an aftertaste that lingered a long time. It poured a nice light sandy color with a slight heard. The armoa was quite strong. Of all the IPAs I have ever tried I think I liked this the least. The aftertaste was very hard to get rid of.
