I enjoyed the sweet aroma of this brew.....very citrus-like. The cloudy yellow-orange coloring was very inviting. The taste was quie smooth and enjoyable, as there was a fun sweet aftertaste that was very enjoyable. It paired very nicely with a BBQ sandwich.

Did anyone say pale yellow american beers? Not quite. Seems a little more clear and less cloudy than other whites, no fog, without little things swirling around in there. without the yeast.Slight yeast aroma. Initial bite was slightly bitter as mild hops but the bitterness faded within minutes after the first taste. A little less than average carbonation. And yes, I did imagine banana....! Specifically, not real bananas but the taste of a good quality banana popsicle on a warm sunny day. How interesting. No lasting bitterness on the finish.

Pours a cloudy, tawny golden-brown with medium sized creamy off white head that settle shortly into a quarte inch crown and leaves patchy lacing. The aroma is of freen bananas, strong hit of clove, bready wheat, a touch nutty. The taste is also of green bananas closely followed by a smattering of spices. Strong clove presence. Perhaps some cinnamon and brown sugar. Banana bread with walnuts. Spicy, yeasty finish with bready wheat notes. The mouthreel is on the lighter side of medium bodied, fluffy and creamy and moderate prickling carbonation.

Off the tap at Troegs; a true to form hefe that I could drink all day (and we all know that if you don't start drinking in the morning, you can't drink all day)... banana/clove aroma with a hazy golden/orange appearance; slight head. Aromas translate to flavor. Nice.

This beer was a nice American Wheat beer. I picked this up as part of a larger mixed case from Troegs. The beer tasted of lemons, cloves, and freshly cut grass. I would have this again.

This one came with a sample 12 pack...poured an opaque yellow color with a white head and lacing. I didn't taste much banana, I mostly tasted yeast more than anything else. Not my favorite style of beer but drinkable. I do like the appearance of it in my mug though.

Pours a lush, cloudy golden-orange with a lingering white head and good lacing. Fresh aroma of crisp wheat, ripe banana and cut grass. Mouth feel is lighter than it needs to be and has an awkward, soapy aftertaste. Flavor is better than most American made wheats, but it falls short of being a repeat purchase. The fruitiness fades in the flavor. Nah.

Hazy yellow pout with almost no head and very minor lacing. Carbonated well, not overly so. The flavor was, uhm, hard to describe. Certainly bananas in the forward notes. But on the backside I felt am almost slick finish. Sort of like eating something that was just past being spoiled. Not certain what that is all about. Maybe the bananas were over ripe. An ok beer. Thanks for sharing Louis.

Pours a pale yellow with lots of bubbles and thick white head. Aroma is bananas, wheat, and yeast. Taste is very similar--kind of like a banana popsickle. Good representation of the style. Unfortunately, I'm just not a big fan of hefeweizens. Maybe if I could find one that doesn't taste like bananas, I might change my mind.
