Blue Point Brewing's Pale Ale has a light golden color but explodes with a rich full-flavor. This refreshing ale is top fermentated and hopped at three different stages of the brewing process. English pale malt lends complexity to this brew. Small amounts of Wheat and Carapils round out the malt bill. Brewed to satisfy the hop lover, this pale ale has an immediate floral-citrus flavor that pervades the overall character of this hoppy, quenching microbrew

This is actually more of an American Pale ale vs. IPA. Some floralness in there. Not too bitter or overly hoppy. I am finding the balance quite nice, and the mouthfeel crisp and feels dry or fresh hopped. My third sample from Blue Point and finding them aight. Liked the toasted coconut lager and this pale ale, but didn't care too much for their rye. A solid pale ale though. Not complaining at all for a $3 bomber.

A medium amber colored beer with a big, frothy textured, white head rising above. Very long hang time on this one. And the lacing is a thich soapy film aside the glass and ringlet atop the body. This is in nose and tasting a wide spectrum hops beer, floral, pine and bittering citrus. Like most india pale ales, a real thirst quencher.

On tap at the Mad Mex, Robinson. Aroma of mild floral hops, smells like a mild IPA. Pale yellow ubiquitous american beer color. A quarter inch white head. Bitter chewing on grapefruit rind flavors. Almost like an IPA in character, now I know why this IPA rates so high on this site. Barely any carbonation, but slightly more than flat. Overall, probably would not buy this again, just a little too much like an IPA for me. Bitter medicinal linger for a few minutes after the session.

On cask at the Blind Tiger in NYC. The appearance was golden to slight amber with a light thin foam head that subsided quickly, nothing impressive. The aroma was typical pale ale, nice citrus and floral notes, a touch of pine. The flavor was pale malts, citrus (oranges?) and floral most dominant, maybe some biscuits under it all. Mouthfeel was moderate, decent body for the style, perhaps because of the cask and warmer temperatures. Carbonation average, nice stuff.

You don't know shit. This Pale Ale is overbearingly sharp with a fairly unpleasant linger on the palette. Many other India Ales beat this brew hands down. Syrupy and fairly terrible.

Clear copper color with a nice sized light white head. Taste had a mellow hop kick to it balanced out beautifully with a sweet maltiness. I have to say, these guys really know their shit.
