Growler. Light red color with small head. Nice rasberry color and aroma. I understand a lot of fresh rasberries are used in brewing this stuff, hence the $18 growler pricetag. Not too sweet and nott too light but just right. Not a fan of fruit beers but this was as good as any that I’ve had. I put some of this in my Hitachino Sweet Stout and it was great.

Cloudy copper color with medium sized head. Aromas of apples, caramel and strong alcohol. Taste of acid, candy and roasted barley. Fizzy carbonated mouthfeel.

Black pour with a brown, bubbly head. Tinny nose. Wait, the head is just about gone, damn. Smokey and chocolate tastes but the mouth is a little thin. You can definatly taste the high alcohol in this. Tastes like it came from a can.

Poured a brownish/amber color with a small head. Aroma was a bit fruitty with orange, molasses and hops. The taste was a bit off to me, lightly sour, nutty, caramel and bitter. Didn’t care for it.

Tap @ brewery. Clear copper with medium sized. head. I always get excited when I see a scotch ale on tap at a brewpub and this time was no exception. Taste is malty but the body is way too thin. Flavor has a slight toastiness but no real peat flavor. Worth taking a pass on this one and trying one of their better offerings.
