Poured a brownish/amber color with a small head. Aroma was a bit fruitty with orange, molasses and hops. The taste was a bit off to me, lightly sour, nutty, caramel and bitter. Didn’t care for it.

Pours a mohagany color with a *huge* head (took me three pours to get through the bomber even while being careful) that was quite chunky (rootbeer float-like) that left a thick blanket down the side of the glass. Scent is nutty malt with a touch of hops. Taste is nutty malt with some darker fruits and some natural spices thrown in (not added but inherent in the barley, methinks). There's a definately hop/citrus presence, but not as much as I thought there would be. This reminds me of a Brown with a bit more hops; it's well balanced. Mouthfeel has a nice bite to it and it's thicker tahen I was expecting. Overall this is nice. It's not something I'd want all the time but definately good for a change of pace.

A thin watery mess. Seven malts and four hop varieties and not one stands out to make a statement.

Dark reddish amber color. Medium head. Aroma is malty, fruity and a touch sweet. A medium bodied strong ale. Malts are nutty, fruity and sweet. Hops are piney and slightly bitter. Fairly large rich malt tastes in this beer. Itís a little harsh tasting, and I think there are some of those ìI canít identify Christmas Beer spicesî in here as well. Itís a very easy drinking winter warmer. Sort of grows on you. Painted beer bottle. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and a touch dry. Aftertaste is bitter.

In appearance this is a dark brown beer, with ruby accents..with a bubbly tan head. the aroma is mainlly malty almost in a doppelbock way. This has a fairly complex variety of tastessweet to start, then a surprising "fizzy" sourness on the sides of the tongue..followed by a long and pleasant bitterness. Some accents of bitter camp coffee come to mind. Very good and exciting in the mouth..long finish. A nice tasty ale from Siletz..a good brewery

Poured a cloudy copper color with a huge, mountainous, reddish tan head and some nice lacing. Weak malty and citrus aroma. Taste was sweet malt, lightly hopped. The taste seem funky and off.
