This one is a little to heavy on the banana and cloves for me. I’ll stick with weihenstephaner.

Dark copper brew that smells of malt,caramel and vanilla. Excellent flavor that dances on the tongue.Hint of sweetness that makes this a pleasure to drink.Barleywines are definately moving uo to become a favorite.

Pitch black pour with no head.Very full bodied and creamy brew which is slightly bitter. Nice coffee and dark chocolate notes. A little sweetness at the front smokiness in the middle with just a hint of alcohol at the finish.

Light amber with a creamy white head.Floral nose.Nice creamy palate. A little sweet with a nice balance.

I loved HST and his writing and this beer is close to being a fitting tribute. Closer to a sweet stout then a Baltic imo. Very nitrogen like creamy body( not my favorite thing) with decent roastiness. A lot of sweetness in the finish though.
