The beer poured an opaque dark muddy brown colour with a 3/4" creamy tan coloured head that lasted throughout. The aroma was weak, but definitely had a roasted malt character to it. The mouthfeel was full-bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was dominated by roasted malt tones, with some bitterness in the mix

The back label has a similar feature to the Coors bottles with a silver icon that turns blue when cold.

The beer pours a translucent golden-red with a small thin tan head. The aroma is very grainy, and some earthiness. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, with ample carbonation. The flavour is more grainy malt with some sourness at the end. Only slightly better than the Confederation Ale.

The beer poured a solid golden-brown with a thin light tan coloured head. The aroma was floral in nature with some sweet malt. The mouthfeel was full-bodied, creamily thick, with medium carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt, maple sugar, with a strong hop flavour. Unlike the 60min and 90min IPAs, this beer is way too sweet, having something of a barleywine feel to it.

The beer poured a cloudy golden-orange colour with absolutely no head. The aroma was grainy malt, some must, and peppery tones. The Mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was full of spice with a nice balance between the malt and the hops. Definitely a peppery taste and feel.

I tried this beer on November 19, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a clouded golden-orange into the glass with almost no head whatsoever. Effervescence was on display. The aroma was sour, and musty. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied, with medium-carbonation....although that may have been lost in the pucker. The flavour was malty with some possible green apple hints. Very tart. Definitely worth trying.

I tried this beer on November 19, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent orange-red with a very thin very short-lived white head. The aroma is malty with pumpkin and spicy notes (cloves and nutmeg). The mouthfeel was medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour was primarily malty with some definite spiciness and a hop-laden finish. Better than the Great Lakes Pumpkin ale in my opinion.

I tried this beer on November 13, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a dark brown with a thin tan coloured head. The aroma was candied sugar, maple, plums, raisins, and caramel. The mouthfeel was full-bodied, and medium carbonated. The flavour was SWEET. The alcohol was not all that noticeable, but the sugary taste was very dominant!

The beer poured a translucent reddish-gold with a generous light tan head that lingered. The aroma was hoppy with definite floral hints and citrusy tones. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, slightly high in carbonation, and crisp. The flavour was citrusy grapefruit through and through. An excellent refreshing beer. As this is now sold in LCBO stores in Ontario - I hope Canadian brewers take note and start brewing similar beers by the oceanful.

I was told about this beer from a bartender friend at another beer bar I frequent in the city. I'll have to thank him for the recommendation.

The beer poured a blackish colour with brown at the edges with a thin light brown head. The aroma was roasted malt, coffee, and dark chocolate/cocoa. The mouthfeel was full-bodied, thich, and somewhat creamy. The flavour was a complex suite of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt.............followed by a bittering finish. An excellent beer.

The beer poured a beautiful translucent dark gold (with reddish hues) in a tulip glass with almost no head. The aroma was bready malt, some maple notes, and yeast. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is malty, some yeasty notes, some caramel, and a little hops.
