The aroma was sweet malt, some yeast, some sugar, and dark fruit. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt (a little too sweet), yeast, and some plums. A very good beer, just a tad short of a great beer.

I tried this beer on tap on March 20, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer appeared a clear reddish-brown with a thin tight tan coloured head. The aroma was very hoppy with ample floral hoppish notes, some pine, and citrus. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium high carbonation. The flavour had some malt, and a nice balance of grapefruity hops. There was also some acidity in the flavour.
