I tried this beer on April 9, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It came recommended from the bartender. The beer poured a murky reddish-brown with a long-lasting tan head. The aroma was sweet malt, some yeast, some sugar, and dark fruit. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt (a little too sweet), yeast, and some plums. A very good beer, just a tad short of a great beer. -

The beer pours a hazy reddish gold with a very thin short-lived whitish head. The aroma is mainly grainy malt, some sour smells, and very little hops. The mouthfeel is weak to medium bodied and very little cvarbonation. The flavour is sour, woody, grainy, and not very good. -
