I tried this beer on draught on April 2, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy orange gold with a thick white head. The aroma was wheat malt, some banana, some cloves, and with some florally hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was sweet with hints of wheat and spice and a nice bitter finish.

This is a dark golden pour, very murky, with a very generous head. Widely available in Ontario in both package and draught form. The aroma is dominated by wheat, banana, clove, and bubble gum. All the things that make Hefes enjoyable. This is sweeter than a Erdinger or a Weihenstephaner, but not as sweet as a Paulaner or a Hacker-Pschorr.

Pours a cloudy golden-amber colour with a creamy cap, decent lasting with some soapy lacing. Cereal grain smell with some rye notes and darker malts. Some sweetness comes out of it eventually. The wheat balances the darker malts as flavours, and hints of banana are felt. Smooth finish, but some richness gets a little too heavy overall. Maybe need to chug cold next one.

Cloudy light yellow with white foam head. Aroma is citrus, so is taste. Nothing special, but still fresh and refreshing. Aftertaste is citrus changing to wheat. Seems to be alias beer. (Velp, 201212)

A murky yellow colored beer with a moderate foamy textured white head. There;'s some hang time. Settles eventually into a thick ringlet. The profile is wheat notes, banana and cardamon. Moderate bodied and very smooth.

This beer is unfilterd, what leaves it really murky. The taste leaves you're mouth really quickly. It's too bad that the taste is so faint, because when served in the original glass it looks great.

This is certainly one of the murkiest beers that I've ever seen. In fact, it looks like the "gray penguin" of the beer world. What's a "gray penguin" you may ask? You know, it's when you've pissed off the bartender and he "buys" you a drink at the end of the night. Turns out, the "gray penguin" is the run off that has collected on the bar mat all evening sopped up with a bar rag and squeezed into a glass, but you only find that out after enjoying your free drink. This beer is kinda like that to me. The only thing that I taste, smell, see, etc. in this beer is wheat, wheat and more wheat. Other than that, there is a some wheat and some more wheat. Oh yeah, did I mention the wheat? I'm just not getting any banana here.

Pours a translucent, hazy, light golden with a decent white head. Aroma is yeasty and wheaty, fairly strong. Flavor is rich, wheaty, yeasty and slightly fruity, mainly orange. Texture is smooth, tingly and lively. Overall, about average but still pleasing.

Bottle. Poured a hazy pale amber colored Hefeweizen with the usual two fingers white foamy head that had a short retention. Some lacing. Active carbonation. The aroma is yeast, malty, fruity, banana and spicy, cloves. The flavour is yeasts, fruity, ripe bananas, pears and spicy, cloves. The palate is quite watery, too.. watery. The finish of this light bodied Hefeweizen is dry. Far away from the best in the style.

THis is quite possibly the best draught German Hefeweizen I have ever had. The banana/clove aroma is really prevalent in this cloudy golden beer. Typical hefe flavour though, but smoother than most.

Aroma is very nice. Goes down very nice and is refreshing. Has a strong hint of fruit at first but it diminishes and makes for a very pleasant brew. Very nice Hefe. Will definitely have again.
