It was shared with fellow beerpal lenusik. The beer poured a hazy straw gold colour with a rocky off-white head fed by good effervescence. The aroma was soap, spice, yeast, citrusy hops, and malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. The flavour was yeasty, with some spiciness and malt, and a citrusy hop finish.Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

The beer poured a slightly hazy straw yellow with a thin white head. The aroma was wheat malt, spices, and perfumey hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour wasn't very Belgian Wit at all. it was citrusy hops and a weak malt backbone. Enjoyable....and good tasting.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

The beer poured a translucent golden red with a 2" generous off-white head that lasted. The aroma was caramel malt, grassy malt, and citrusy hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was nicely balanced between the malty sweetness, and the citrusy hop bitterness. Definitely enjoyable.Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

I tried this beer on November 18, 2010 at "The Beerbistro" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a dark cocoa-cola brown with a thin tan head that lasted a few minutes. The aroma was Dark roasted malt, coffee, and anise. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is roasted malt, coffee, and cocoa. A good beer, but not great.Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Labelled as 'Corporal's Bitter Brown Ale'
I tried this beer on November 9, 2010 after purchasing from the Queen's Quay LCBO in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy brownish gold with a thin white head (certainly not the rich mahogany colour described on the bottle). The aroma was grainy malt, ginger, and some floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, with citrusy hops, yeast, and spices...and I still have a ginger taste. I really enjoyed this beer. Appearance is marked down because brownish gold comes nowhere near mahogany! Had the side of the bottle not said 'mahogany.....it would have received a higher score!Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

The beer pours a translucent reddish gold with a 2" tan coloured head that lingers. The aroma is citrusy hops, and sweet malt in behind. Hoppy lagers are almost always good. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is citrusy hops, light fruits, and cereal malt. Very enjoyable and easy drinking beer.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5

The beer poured a translucent red-hued golden colour with almost no head. A white ring and heavy effervescence persisted throughout. The aroma was milky sugar, grains, and floral hops. The flavour was grainy malt and some weak hoppy tones. An alright beer, but nothing spectacular.
