The beer poured a translucent chestnut brown (appears solid but when held to light some seeps through) with a thing beige head. The aroma is roasted malt, and coffee. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour is roasted malt, some coffee, some dark chocolate and a nice bitter finish. The beer poured a translucent dark red colour with a thin bubble tan coloured head. The aroma was pine scent, perfumey hops and grassy malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, slightly creamy, and medium carbonation. The flavour was light grapefruit, some cereal malt. The beer poured a murky golden orange colour with a foamy tan coloured head that stuck to the sides of the glass. The aroma was pine, citrus, grapefruit, and some butterscotch. The mouthfeel was medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was bitter grapefruit, some grain, and slight sweetness. A very enjoyable beer.Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

This is the Beer Idol beer. I'm not not into beer caps, so it doesn't really matter to me, but I didn't want my 'Beer idol beer' to be a Molson Canadian 67. The beer poured a solid dark brown colour with a bubbly tan coloured head. The aroma was dark fruits, roasted malt, coffee, and vanilla. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation...but thin for an Imperial Stout. The flavour was coffee, roasted malt, some caramel, and some vanilla. It's obviously a popular choice amongst the wait staff because every single one of them has made a positive comment about the beer as they've passed by.Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

The beer poured a solid black woth a this tan head. The aroma was overwhelmingly anise with roasted malt, coffee, and caramel all taking a back seat. The mouthfeel was full-bodied and creamy. The flavour was again roiasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate.....and anise. I'm not a huge licorice fan, so the power of the anise took away from the enjoyment of this beer, but anise aside, a solid effort.Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

From the $0.50 Singles Bin. The beer poured a translucent gold colour with a bubble white head that quickly dissipated. The aroma was grass, with some weak floral hops, and skunk. The mouthfeel was extremely thin bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was god awful. Very acidic, and sour grainy malt. Not a fan of Corona or Corona Light but if you need to choose between the two...the Corona is FAR better, although that's not saying much.
