    The Beerbistro (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
    May 23, 2008
    Bottled February 18, 2008
The beer poured a cloudy pinkish red with a thin white head. The aroma was musty with some hints of raspberry. The mouthfeel was thin, and very champagny. The flavour was primarily sour raspberries, very dry, and delicious. Very expensive, yet worth it.

I tried this on May 20, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This poured a purplish-black with a whitish head, which quickly faded. The aroma was primarily black currant with sour blueberries and grapes in the mix. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied, and highly carbonated. The flavour was a mix of sour grapes, black currants, and finished off with some hoppy bitterness.

While this is classified as a beer, it was more of a low-alcohol wine experience......but a great experience.

I tried this beer on May 20, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy yellow orange with a finger-thick white head that lasted throughout. The aroma was yeast, malt, and spicy sweetness. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and highly carbonated, almost sparkling. The flavour was wheat, yeast, and some sweet malty tones.

The beer poured a dark brownish black with a creamy tan coloured head. The aroma was roasted malt, cocoa, coffee, and some sugary chocolate. The mouthfeel is creamy, medium-bodied with low carbonation. The flavour is sweet, nutty, and chocolatey with some licorice hints.

I tried this beer on May 16, 2008 at "C'est What Restaurant" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a dark reddish brown with a creamy tan coloured head. The aroma was sweet malt, roasted malt, some sugar, and a little hoppish tone. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is sweet and has a nutty character to it. An excellent beer.

I tried this beer on May 13, 2008 at the "Elephant and Castle" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer was poured a translucent reddish-brown colour with a half-inch creamy tan coloured head. The aroma was a combination or raosted malt, and hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with mild carbonation. The flavour was all about the hops. A nice bitter citrusy tang and a very good beer.

The beer poured a beautiful translucent gold colour with a huge frothy white head that dissipated within seconds. The aroma was of faint grainy malts and not much else. The mouthfeel was thin and watery and forgettable. The flavour had a hint of beer in it.....just a hint. Even at $1.30 a can I expect more than this.

The beer pours a transparent pale gold with a white bubbly head, and a lot of effervescence. The aroma is sickly grainy malt, with a touch of hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and well carbonated. The flavour is very grassy with little else to please the tongue.

The beer poured a slightly translucent dark brown (when held to the light) with a thin tan head that quickly dissipated. The aroma was heavily roasted malt, some sweet malt, and some grass. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly creamy, and a little bit of carbonation. The flavour has some roasted malt flavours, some sourness, and some sweet tones.

I tried this beer on May 9, 2008 after purchasing from the Queen's Quay LCBO outlet. The beer poured a beautiful translucent rusty red colour with some effervescence leading to a short-lived whitish head. The aroma was sweet malt, some fruit tones (I'm thinking plums), and a little hoppiness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, amply carbonated, and a little sour on the tongue. The flavour is no where near as fruity as the aroma. There is some sweet maltiness, some sourness in the middle, and slightly bitter finish. This beer suited my tastes quite well.
