Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
August 10, 2010
I tried this beer on August 10, 2010 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent pale yellow gold colour with a thin white head and plenty of effervescence. The aroma was wet cardboard and grass. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was non-existant. Weak malt tones with a more sour than bitter finish.

Purchased in a single clear bottle at the LCBO and written "with a squeeze of lime" on the front side. Pours a decent golden colour (for a light beer) with a decent white, almost creamy head, average retention and some lacing. Wow... the nose is quite something though. Very grainy with something bad. I just can't put my finger on it, but it is like food that does not smell good. It does get better as it breathes and just grain remains. Thin mouthfeel and kind of fizzy. Where is the lime in this ?? Nope, nothing found in that department. Just grain. Not a horrible light beer (as others put it) with the look and taste of a normal lager, but lacking the "natural lime flavours" it advertises and having a weird graininess to it.

Pale gold colour in the glass. Not much head to speak of, but some lacing left behind. Another beer that tastes and feels like club soda with a bit of alcohol. Nothing interesting happening here.

What's with these tiny bottles showing up the beer store. There may be a mouthfeel of bad beer at the best. This is a clear beer with yellowish hints throughout and no head. None. I speak not a lie but a truth here...nada! The aroma and flavour are just as week. In fact, every product put out by the Cool Beer company is weak.

Clear 275ml bottle: Puts an extremely pale lager in the glass...no head to speak of but some lacing on the glass. Spritzy artificial carbonation. Funky veggie-wet cardboard aroma...yuk! Watery body gritty mouth feel, faint grainy-sour character. Some detectable cereals in the front, hop extract type balance fast dry uneventful finish. Spritzy weak girlie drink....not my cup of tea,
