Really nice amber pour with a light head. Minimal amount of lace on the glass. Very nice clean crispy taste. Semi sweet with a litte bitterness to it. Mouthfeel was a little on the thin side. Is this really a light beer?

I was just talking about this beer a month ago while visiting the Leinie Lodge. It is a shame they don't make this since it was one of the best light beers available (along with Sam Adams Light)--much more flavorable than Michelob Ultra Amber or any other pale lager available now.

I've tried this beer several times, and none of them were memorable. An interesting take on both the amber ale and the light beer. The flavor was always on the sweet side, and a little intense.

this beer was an inexpensive beer that was not to bad. I cant remember all of the details of this one. Those folks up there in wisconsin do make a few tasty beers though.

This was a good light beer full of flavor, unfornatualy Leinies took it off the market to make way for some of the other beers it has coming up like summer shandy and apple spice 2002-2006.

One of the better light beers i have had. I was able to purchase 12 packs in wisconsin for the longest time but i was sorry to hear they are not making it. I hope jake and the boys will rethink this decision.

Bottle. Pours a clear, golden-orange color with a light white head. Little to no lacing. Typical light beer aroma. Flavor is pretty good, especially for a light beer. Probably one of the best light beers around, and really good for the price.

If this is light beer then I am sold. The best light beer I think I have had, had body and flavor. Poured a nice red color with a white fizzy head that did not last long. Was a little bit more carbonated than I wanted but the flavor was very good and was an easy drinker. Will buy this from now on when I need a light beer on hand.

The colour was nice..light amber with a fair head. But I found it to be very average for beer. But actually what I expect out of light beer. I really like Leinenkugel's beer. Price wise you can't beat it. You get microbrew quality for around $6.00 a six pack. But this is my least favorite. I found it to be somewhat dull in taste and aroma. Nothing special at all. But if you like lite beers (and to be fair to this beer, I do not like lite beers) you might very well love this one. I tried it in Leine's Variety pack. Definately my least favorite Leinenkugel beer.

All of Liney's brands are real deals for the price. This one is smooth, and nicely flavorful for an inexpensive brew.
