This is a strange beer. Heavily advertised on Canadian TV with the tag line "We sell it in Ontario for the minimum legal price....but we would sell it for less if we could". Well, it's certainly worth a lot less than the minimum legal price in Ontario. The beer poured a clear gold with a HUGE white bubbly head that did not last, although there was excess effervescence in the glass.. The aroma was metallic, acidic, and sweet. The mouthfeel was watery and medium carbonated. The flavour was sweet acid and wet steel. Yum Yum!

Picked up a 36 pack and remember thinking "how bad could this really be?" At almost half the price of the big guys, I hoped it would be at least drinkable for my keystone chugging friends but even they could barely choke it down. Even at 36 cents a can, it isn't worth it. Stupid gimmick (36 pack case) got me again (last time was with Minhaus' 8-pack).

Can: pours a pale yellow headless lager, Zero lacing. Aroma of dextrin and cardboard. Tastes like a typical adjunct lager: low on cereals high on corn sweetness, thin, bland, nearly no hop presence, watery finish but clean, Over priced for adjunct slop.

New arrival at The Beer Store... and pretty sure I saw the end of a commercial on TV for this. An American beer that is brewed for Canada it seems (as I do not see any American rating this one). Pours a golden colour with a big white frothy head with an average retention and wavy lacing. Low carbonation with some smaller bubbles and some bigger ones coming up from time to time. Malty nose at first pour and then some adjunct aromas with some metallic, corn and alcohol notes. Pretty nasty taste with some alcohol (but not burning), corn and chemical shit. Suggestions: drink from can only. Only came in a 12-pack here, so will use to drink fast and get drunk.

Minhas brewing.... ahhhh yes..... let us begin so we can end quicker. I smartly traded a 3yr cellared Rochefort 10 for this brew with a poor student (Todd) working at the climbing gym. I win that trade! Yeeehaaaaw! Yellow gold with ample floaties from dish rags used in filtration system, ok white cap with endless large bubbles, Ah, the smell of sweet corn stuff, warm mushy apples, odd peaches.. maybe... and a couple of other things that seem quite awful but never offend which is surprising. MMMMMMMMMM yumtacular. Actually, this is quite drinkable - just as promised from my creditable alcoholic friend. Not overly sweet, a touch of tanginess in the mouth, grain and corn and more sweetness now, a slight spice that might just be my taste buds that assumed the worst and committed suicide. Watery but not overly as there is some flavour here. Leaves my mouth dry and papery. Would I drink more than one? Not on your life... unless it was given to me or I wanted a massive University hangover. Still, it’s dirt cheap and will get the job done better than a good handful of the other garbage swills. The can design screams high end.

An American craft beer available in Alberta. Interesting! A clear golden beer with a white head. The aroma is all adjunct. The flavour is acidic metal at it's best. This is a beer to avoid.

Hahahaahahah 38 pack for 24 bucks how can you go wrong?? And why a 38 pack???? Looks like crap beer from a can, what ells can be said really. Smells metallic, corny, and sweet with some rotten malts luckily it fairly mild. Buttery mixed with random chemical taste, lots of wet grassy tasting malts, mild amounts of fake tasting hops but overall it carbonated butter. What a crap beer, my soul weeps for the next unfortunate person who drinks one.
