I tried this beer on November 9, 2010 after purchasing from the Queens Quay LCBO outlet. The beer poured a very dark brown, almost black, with a huge brown bubbly head. The aroma was roasted malt, nuts, dark chocolate, and molasses. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with high carbonation. The flavour was very sour with hints of chocolate and roasted malt - in fact, the sourness lingers.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

The beer poured a solid black with a foamy brown coloured head that lasted throughout. The aroma was dark chocolate, roasted malt. coffee, and molasses. The mouthfeel was full bodied, and creamy with medium carbonation. The flavour was bitter dark chocolate, some coffee, lots of roasted malt. This is a huge whallop of chocolate in a beer, maybe too much of a whallop because I'll take the Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout over this any day.Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
