330ml bottle
3.7% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
August 10, 2010
From the $0.50 Singles Bin. The beer poured a translucent gold colour with a bubble white head that quickly dissipated. The aroma was grass, with some weak floral hops, and skunk. The mouthfeel was extremely thin bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was god awful. Very acidic, and sour grainy malt. Not a fan of Corona or Corona Light but if you need to choose between the two...the Corona is FAR better, although that's not saying much.

12oz bottle at a Cuban restaurant in Tampa
Clear light golden, no head or lacing. Mild aroma is skunky and grains. Taste is grainy, cereal and doughy
    Ok, not offensive

This beer is in a clear 12 oz bottle. From the outside, I can tell it is the color of your typical pale yellow american lager. When you pour this into your glass, it has but a white froth for a head. It is interesting to note that it has medium large and small streaming bubbles rising from within the brew. In other brews, I always observe the bubbles that stream are usually the same size. When you pop the cap, I immediately noticed an aroma of skunk cabbage. This seems to overwhelm any yeasty beer smells that may be present. Upon tasting, you get the average lager expectations, nothing real offensive. Flavor is not really too bad. I think I do detect some citrus peel bitterness in the background. Not as light tasting as I would have expected after reading some of these reviews. It does have a good moderate lager presence for a light brew. On par with its Corona Extra father as far as flavor goes. Slight low bitter interesting linger on the finish. Overall, just your same old ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Schmidt’s is much better than this.

Golden amber with white bubbly head. Smell is a sweet skunky aroma. Bitter sour leaves the mouth dry and lemony.

Rated Nov. 2006. Clear light gold with thin white head. Sweet malt and slightly skunky yeast aroma. Light flavor of sweet malts, some light crisp hops and a bit of corn flakes. Not too hateful. A big step up from the other macro swill.

355 ml clear bottle, ABV is 3.9%. The Norwegian supermarket scene has now been blessed with this masterpiece, hurra. Very pale yellow colour, moderate white head of poor retention. Fairly strong sweetish aroma, notes of maize, artificial candy and grass. Soft mouthfeel. Citric and refreshing flavour (kind of), a little hops in the finish. Thin and uninteresting as expected, but not disgusting.

From bottle, but probably no foam there. Quite fresh, lime inserted which is mostly determining the taste. Actually one should not conisder this a beer. (Huntsville 201505)

I love stouts and porters but I also enjoy a lime in a really Corona. However this is NOT a Corona. I have tried a lot of different brands of light beers. This one does the worst injustice to the original.

just a watered down version of corona, pours light gold in color, virtually no head. good for lunch or drinking during the day when you don't want to get drunk.

see my review of corona extra to find out what do with it. Nice hot day beer but what is the difference between this and corona extra... less calories, that's it... I do stock more of these when I have people who are watching their weight
