A murky pale yellow colored beer. A big carbonated creamy white head rises above. Some hang time. Settles into a thin wafer of lacing. Nose is malt and peachy fruit. It’s creamy and medium to light bodied. The taste, like the nose is peaches in a malt base. Different. But enjoyable.

this came in an 8 pack that came w/ 2 of these, 2 apple, 2 peach, and 2 cherry. this is also my first and only of of the saison style, and i like it! this was a great edition to the 8 pack and not only do i wish that this was more accessible here, but it makes me want to try more of this style w/out hesitation.

This pours with a sizeable head into a lovely golden colour. Both the aroma and taste suggest green apples, with just that bit of green apple "bite", but at the end is also a tiny hint of sweetness, perhaps the black currant must.

Poured a cloudy golden color with a large head that gradually shrank as it was consumed (leaving behind nice lacing). Aroma was spicey (coriander) and most strongly of apples / grapes. Mouthfeel was light with carbonation. Flavor was somewhat weak and inferior to the Dupont saison I had. Still an enjoyable beer, but not my idea of a great beer.

Pourred a light reddish brew with a beige head with good retention. Smell of sweet fruit and light spice. Very refreshing taste with hard to describe fruity taste (maybe orange, lemon...) Good body. Overall, another great fruit beer from Unibroue.

Very smooth, certainly refreshing, and pretty good but I have a tough time viewing this as a beer. If someone told me that this was a hard cider I might believe them. A hazy golden color with a nice thick foamy head. Aroma is sweet and fruity and at first I thought might be raspberries mixed in with apples. The 5.5% is much lower than other Unibroue selections I've had. Definitely a unique brew, at least to me it is. A sweet apple taste dominates the flavor with some yeast in there worth noting. Overall it's a nice change from the norm and pretty good for the summertime.

I really enjoyed this one, not Unibroue's best, but very pleasant in my most humble of opinions. Pours with a golden to amber color, nice heady white head with good lacing, and a nice sweet nose. I suppose from what I read that this is the basis for the fruited version, but everyone seems to taste fruit tones here. Yeah, I picked up the apple notes, but what I also seemed to taste was a slight hint of strawberry (yes I was drinking straight L'epheme). Dry effervescence on the tongue. Good stuff.

Well, this is certainly unique. The aroma of tart granny smith apples hits you as soon as you pop the cap. A musty sour aroma is present as well. Pours a cloudy yellow with a finger of foam. Flavor is tart and sweet apple, hints of coriander, and a touch of sourness. This isn't quite like I expected, very much like a green jolly rancher dropped into a mediocre witbier. This is worth a try, but only after you've sampled everything else from Unibroue's excellent lineup.

This brew is the base body of all other fruity Ephemere (without any fruit). It poured a hazy orange-brown colour with a frothy off-white head. As the head dissapeared slowly, a layer of foam was left. The colour is darker then all other Ephemeres. Aromas were of yeast, Belgium sweet malts and spices. The mouth was on the sour side with a slight bitter aftertaste. Had a huge amount of carbonation. This is a great beer a-la-Belgium-Ale-style.

Pours with a slightly cloudy golden body topped by a huge white foamy head with a good amount of lacing. The nose is slightly flowery and full of sour apple, with a slight hint of sweet maltiness and a touch of hops. The room was filled with the smell of apples. Sweet slightly malty flavor with a good amountof apple notes and atouch of sourness. Light bodied smooth and crisp. A truely remarkable brew. One of the few fruit beers I've actually enjoyed.
