Another South Carolina brew from MCrapps. Pours a clear medium amber with a Coke-like head and lots of lacing. LOTS of carbonation - like a sodapop. Any aroma is rather weak with some lemon and malts and not much rye or hops. Taste is also thin and watery but not unpleasant. Not much going on with this one.

This beer is one of the fine microbrews created by Thomas Creek Brewery right here in good old South Carolina. As its name says, this is a multi-grain beer and that fact is strongly stated in its aroma, taste, and aftertaste. It smells like a dark beer, but it pours a deep yellow with a bit of amber. Not much head but well-carbonated. If you're looking for a rich-tasting beer with lower-than-average alcohol content, then you should really check this one out.

My first impressions of this beer is that is was liquified cereal combined with a beer. It had a definite malt character in the nose, but it also had this cereal like aroma to it. Appearance was a light brown, cloudy with an okay head. Mouthfeel was smooth, nothing harsh. Flavors were more malt, but I also got this lemongrass thing going on with it. Combine the lemongrass, the malt and the cereal-like nose and you've got....not a very good beer.

Pours a medium amber with a slight chill haze and a small, white head. The aroma is lightly fruity. Slight hop aroma and flavor. A moderate, bready maltiness starts to come through at the end. Just enough bitterness to crispen it up. Not an exciting beer, but this would be a good session beer.

Pours with a muddy brown body topped by a thick, quickly disappearing head with some lacing. It’s yeasty and bitter with notes of wheat, a touch of hops and a little spice. Meidum bodied and smooth.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy, amber color with a large, white head. Wheat bread like aroma. Strange flavor, almost like a hefeweisen, but not quite. Banana peel aftertaste. Odd, odd beer.

A certainly unique brew. Not as multiply grained as I expected, wheat and barley, right? However this had a munich malt/barleywine aroma that was intriguing for starters. Poured a nice reddish golden brown with a thin head that vanished in a flash. Tasted of munich malt, mild wheat and floral hops. A good and deceptively low alcohol treat. Thanks again, Staley.

The aroma is malty with some sweetness with some caramel present as well with some floral and maybe ginger as well. The appearance is decent and a cloudy bronze to light-brown with an off-white head that diminishes quickly leaving very nice, even lacing on the glass. The mouthfeel is light-bodied with some complexity apparent with some slight hop balance with a decent pallet. The flavor is sweet with malt and much caramel with a decent aftertaste that is smooth with a finish that is okay. Overall, this was an interesting experience and not bad but I would not want to drink in a long session. This was okay but not that drinkable but a fun one to experience.

This beer seriously looks like dirty dishwater. A strange tan/brown appearance. Interesting. A whole bunch of caramel and ginger in the aroma. Upon the first sip Im thinking iced tea? Lets see some bran flakes and caramel are also present. This is a liquid granola bar? The palate is somewhat thin. What is the point of this beer? Breakfast of champions? This is difficult to finish

Thanks to SpringsLicker for this one. Pours an opaque honey color with a nice flavor. It’s crisp up front w/ a nice wet finish. Good flavor.
