I'm not a bourbon drinker so this isn't exactly my favorite beer, but beer-drinkers who also happen to like bourbon should definitely give this one a try! I was amazed at the aroma and flavor. The bourbon had a strong presence in the nose and I couldn't help but swish it around in my mouth a little. It was surprisingly smooth with a lingering aftertaste. I would drink this beer again but it's not exactly made for a backyard barbeque or a hot summer day. Buy some and save them for a more "refined" indoor setting. If you like bourbon, I guarantee you'll rate this beer higher than I did.

If ever there was a "cherry vanilla" beer, this would be it. Both cherry and vanilla can be detected in the aroma, with a bit of citrus. This follows right into the taste as well, combined with a hint of pine and some caramel malts. Coming in at 9.0 ABV this high-gravity brew pours a translucent bronze color with a nice, foamy head with good lacing. A nice-looking beer!

Fairly malty with a touch of citrus, this high-gravity brew pours a beautiful golden color with an average-sized head, the citrus detectable in the nose. Coming in at 7.25 ABV, this slightly tangy/spicy brew is sure to please.

Another fine seasonal brew from the Boston Beer Company, Samuel Adams' Oktoberfest is a typical "Autumn" beer: dark amber in color with good malt flavoring and aroma. There is nothing outstanding about this brew, but it is a good, drinkable brew with a well-balanced body nonetheless. I'd be interested in buying it year-round as a flavor alternative to the cheaper beers I find myself buying in the summers for cookouts and such.

Considering that I squeeze fruit juices, especially oranges and limes, into more of my beers than most people, it's no surprise that I love this beer. I have never been a fan of Bud Light and I assumed this was Budweiser's way of cutting into Corona's profits, but I was willing to give this beer a chance - and I'm glad I did. HEAVY on the lime, this beer is light and refreshing when served cold and in my opinion beats Landshark, Miller Chill, and Corona (with a fresh lime wedge) hands down. I could drink this all day, especially at its 4.2 ABV. This brew has a strong presence of lime from the moment you open the bottle. It's in the aroma, it's in the first taste, and it's in the aftertaste. I've found it very refreshing on our hot SC summer days. With that said, this beer also has a rare additional characteristic - it's the only "mass-produced" beer I've found that actually tastes good warm, too. Try it. :)
