Cameron's Rye Pale Ale 6.6% ABV is one of our most popular seasonal beers. RPA is now available at the LCBO in 650ml bottles for $6.95 It is made of a combination of seven different floral British and pungent American hops, some which are added in a dry hopping process. This involves adding hops directly to the fermented beer in the fermenter. The hops are well supported by a large malt bill of five character malts with a generous portion of rye which contributes to mouth feel and Cameron's Rye Pale Ale's own special character.

This is one of the best beers brewed in Ontario. The spicy rye flavour lingers on the tongue the perfect amount of time. A slightly clouded medium gold pour with a snow white head. Peppery spice, rye, and yeast are the dominant notes in the aroma. The spicy rye flavour is to die for however and this is a beer I could drink all day every day.

Pours a huge foamy off white head that sticks around for a while. Nice dirty, patchy lacing. Has a dark golden appearance. Aromas of floral, citrus and cascade hops. Light bready malts and the rye as well. Flavours are of citrus, cascade and goldings hops, somewhat lemony. Good combination of barley malts and yeast. Rye is very much at the forefront. This one's quite yummy and too easy to drink :)

Bomber from the LCBO and rated as Canada's No. 1 rye beer. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a big off-white, frothy cap that has great retention and loads of foamy lace. Fresh Cascade hop aroma with the citrus, like grapefruits. Kind of creamy with the nice head, but gets nicely dry in the finish because of the hop. Lots of citrus in the taste with some oranges, well-blended with the cereal malts and ending with the very bitter grapefruit zest. I can see why it is also in the top 10 list of rye beer (specialty grain) in the world. A very nice surprise, that gets more bitter and bitter with every sip (like pure grapefruit peel).

C'est What? (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)

The beer poured a hazed dark gold with a 1" foamy light tan head. The aroma was strong citrus hops (I could smell them while the beer was 3 feet away from me), some grains (although not very rye like), and some spices. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is heavy on the grapefruit flavours with a nice malt balance, and some zestiness. I can see why this is being hailed as one of the best IPAs in Ontario. -

Bottle: puts a roily unfiltered golden ale in the glass with a decent cap that lasts and laces. Aroma is west cost IPA with a difference - pungent grapefruit, floral, some cereals, and a great earthy funk (from the rye?). Flavour is all west coast pale ale but very intense and with a decent body. In a blind test you’d call this an west coast IPA - the spoiler is the quick rye spice right at the end of the finish. This is probably the best pale ale made in this local market, the rye component adds to the spicey- citrus complexity which is a matter of hop mixure. A fantastic pale.
