Bottle. Poured a deep amber colored beer with a two fingers light beige foamy head that had a long retention. Mid-sized carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is grainy roasted malts, caramel toffee. The flavour is sweet roasted malts, spicy, licorice. The finish of this medium bodied beer is light bitter.

Pours a beautiful dark brownish amber with a thick and persistent head. Aroma is malty with strong apple or pear overtones. Flavor is a bit thin, but pleasant and malty, some fruit hints, just a touch of bitterness and a whisper of brown sugar. Not outstanding, but very smooth and enjoyable.

500 ml brown bottle, pasteurised, ABV is 6.0%. Courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Ingredients include caramel malts and rice. Dark amber to copper colour, large head. Pleasant aroma with caramel and aromatic hops, hints of oak and alcohol. The flavour has dominant notes of caramel and alcohol, hints of rye bread and oak, moderately bitter finish.

courtesy of oh6gdx - slightly hazy reddish-amber colour under a little beige foam; very herbal nose with notes of roses; medium to full malt body, a decent dry bitterness and a long herbal finish - well-balanced and well-made

First American to rate this on Beerpal.com. An Oktoberfest/marzen beer from Lithuania; this should be intriguing. The aroma is extremely malty and extremely bready with not much of anything else coming through except some deep sweetness as well as some slight saltiness. The appearance is a cloudy amber-red in color when held to the light with a frothy and smooth head on top that remains throughout consumption and is medium in body and well-carbonated. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied with decent raisiny complexity as well as decent malt balance with a palate that is very wet and not too bad. The flavor is malty, sweet, salty, and of figs and ripened fruit with an aftertaste that is smooth but average with a finish that is clean and crisp. Overall, not a bad beer here and would be better in the throws of an oktoberfest celebration for sure; a slight better than average brew here for sure...

Fine dark amber color, full white head. Malty aroma with some sweet alcohol and caramel scents. Intensely malty brew, at first a little acidic, laters turns into plesant caramel sweetness. Intensely spicy (not always nice) and somehow unbalanced. Not bad, but just unfinished - a mix of various flavors. Also not that very popular.

Dark copper coloured, big foamy head. Alcoholic and caramelly aroma with metallic hints. Interesting flavour, at the same time it is bitter hoppy as it is sweetalcoholic and fruity, with hints of roasted malt. Spicy finish and aftertaste.

Bottle. Nice looking amber beer with a large off-white head. Aroma is malty with a touch of barnyard and some alcohol. Taste is sweet, sugary caramel and malts, some light spices and a touch of hops in the finish. Medium bodied but thin in that same finish. A decent strong beer.
