This poured an amber color with a white head. The aroma contains some caramel, citrus, bready notes, and perfume. The flavor is rather tame and slightly dry with some caramel, toasted oats, and slight citrus showing up. This is more malty than anything. Overall decent session stuff at best.

About average for a red, which is underperformance for Stoudts. Could be the least favorite that I tried from them. Balanced ok, just seems a little thin...doesn't stand out in any way. Has some bitter to it. Almost grabbed a 6-pack, but the single was enough.

Comes out of the bottle a clear, dark coppery amber with a fairly thick, if not too persistent, pale tan head. Fruity aroma is mainly apple with a hint of cherry, plus a malty undertone and a subtle yeasty note. Fruity, malty flavor has a tinny undertone and a grassy hint plus a fair amount of bitterness. Texture has average body and fizziness. Maybe not Stoudt’s best, but deserves at least a chance.

On tap @ Bearden Beer Market: clear deep ruby amber pour with a tall creamy head and nice lacing. Earthy spruce and citrus hops and caramel malty aroma, a hint of fruits. Taste is a good balance of hops and malts, hoppy for a red/amber ale, good earthy and slight citrus flavor with a nice offset of the sweetness of the malts to compliment. This is a very nice red similar to Ft. Collins Red Banshee.

A bright amber colored beer with a big foamy orange tinted head. there's a decent amount of hang time on this one. it settles into a thin ringlet. Light nose but tasting is a big piney profile. Not unpleasantly so. Quite a refreshing medium bodied smooth beer.
