I can’t count how many times I’ve brought this to get togethers, bbq’s or watching football with some friends. It’s always such an easy drinking, nicely hopped, damned tasty beer. Picked up a mixed pack of Speakeasy beers for the weekend and it seems like I haven’t rated this yet. Odd.
The beer pours out a dark golden amber color, clear with a creamy 1/2 inch off-white head. Aroma is nicely balanced with the sweet malt, bready yeast and juicy, citrus hop profile. It’s also slightly peppery in the nose. Flavor shows off the same balance in the aroma with a good showing of lightly toasted -

either my tastebuds are raw from the beers i have had prior to this or this beer is a little light on the hops. the aroma is well full of hops but the flavor is not proportionally. mouthfeel is thin and the appearance is golden with a great head that left good lace. overall, its not that good it is a little weak.

Pours a rich-looking amber with a tan foam cap. I pick up a lot of floral and citrus notes in the aroma. Taste is very nice and well-balanced. Smooth, simple, and swiggable.

Bottle courtesy of Piscator34: Poured a dirty cloudy amber color ale with a small foamy head with some average retention. Aroma of hops is quite dry with some bitterness. Taste is dominated by some dry and medium bitter notes with some very subtle dry malt notes. Body is about average with some low carbonation. Very bland overall with some limited bitterness and a weak malt character.

Thanks B, for the brew..
Upon prying the cap off this sucker foamed out all over the table...then when I dumped it into my glass it exploded like champaign. Left behind a deep bubbly off-white cap that had great retension until the bottom of the glass. A bit of messy lacing. Brew is a cloudy, mucky orangish colour and filled with tons of debris. The aroma is plentiful but uninspiring. Less than fragrant, there is some grapefruit and possibly tangerine but the large presence of something similar to what you would get when you shake a tin of Ice Tea crystals, tear off the lid and then huff in the cloud of powder. There is also a thick sweetness. Don't forget instant memories of vodka. Somewhere in here 'earthy' crossed my mind.
Taste is bland, lemony, pine, the hops remind me of vodka and the malts are almost nonexistant. Has a pop-like feel with a so-so swish. I really dislike this particular bitterness. The worst West Coast pale I've ever had. Well well below average - a 2.4 is almost a gift as I try to go by style..in direct comparrison this would probally show up much lower. -

Brew appears to be copper with a yellowy haze a large white cap was produced and had terrific retention. Aroma is mild consisting of slightly bitter malts, some sour candies and citrusy hops. Flavour is very metallic, hops are noticeable and they remind of vegetable soup that’s weird. The malts are very mild and have a very earthy quality to them. Beer is light bodied and slightly over carbonated. After taste is clean and mainly containing metalicy malts this brew is very drinkable and taste ok, but its not wowing me.

A bit hazy orange colour, small off-white head. Aroma of an APA, fruits hops and some wooden hints. Strong nutty, salty and hoppy flavour along with hints of alcohol. Long fruitish aftertaste.

Bottle (thanks, Stoutlover72). Poured a cloudy orange color with a thick white head. Pleasant malty aroma. Flavor wasn't as hoppy as I would have expected, but it was good. Decent beer.

I was a little worried because the aroma is a little skunky. The appearance is very pale and no carbonation. However the mouthfeel was nice and the flavor was very hoppy and probably one of the nicer pale ales around. Worth a try.

This isn't anything special by any means, but compared to many other american pale ales it is fairly decent.
