Pretty fresh when I had this, so the grassy hops stand out a little. Seems like if one sits for a bit, this would be a little carmel malt & biscuit malt heavy, but super fresh, it works as a clean simple pale ale.

12 oz can. Pours slightly hazy straw yellow with a medium creamy white head that quickly goes to a thin film that laces the glass some.
The aroma is toasted caramel malts with some grassy hops.
The flavor is toasted caramel malts and a little fruit with a light bitter grassy hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, a solid pale ale. -

A pleasant run of the mill American Pale Ale from the American midwest that is easy to drink. A medium golden pour with a fluffy white head. LOts of citrus hop aroma with weak sweet malts. Flavour is slightly sweet up front with a spicy bitter finsh.

Pours a bright golden colour with an initially large whit head that quickly fades away leaving a nice small creamy ring of froth. Aroma reminds me of of pine cones . Taste is floral and spice wit hops and cranberry notes.

My only other beer I've had brewed by Snake River was their Zonker Stout, which I thoroughly enjoyed. This one...well....no. An aroma of basically some iced tea like malts with no hop character noticeable. I gave this beer several chances with 3 bottles, but nothing. Strange too, because the desription on BP says it's dry hopped. Just the light iced tea character. Appearance is golden-yellow in color, clear with a 1" thick head (lots of large bubbles) with minimal lacing. Flavor is lightly fruity, some doughy malts but just nothing in terms of hops. Mouthfeel is bitingly harsh. Reminded me of drinking some kind of over-carbonated soda beverage. Not very relaxing or pleasing about that. I'll pass next time, unless it's a Zonker stout.

Pour was a light yellow color almost clear/white. Massive head. Aroma was of citrus and herbs. Flavor was thin, some pine citrus hops herbal. SOme metallic taste to it that got worse as i drank this one.

Beer pours a pale pilsner-like color, weak aroma of citrus hops. Flavor was a bit on the weak side, but enjoyable blend of sweet malts and citrus and floral hops. A bit of funky caramel-like flavor reminiscent of altbiers.

Bottle, pour was with a huge fluffy head, almost pure white in color, golden body. Lacing was decent. The aroma was light resin and some citrus, herbal touches. The flavor was light piney hops, some citrus, floral presence, definite herbal hoppy presence, weak crystal malts underneath, light metallic notes and an earthiness? Mouthfeel was watery and light, otherwise this may have become a bit offensive.

There isn't a lot that makes this beer stand out, but all around this is a rather good APA. Don't get much from the aroma, some hops linger there but it is relatively tame. Nice light copper pour with a lemon tint, sizeable white head, moderate lacing. Full mouthfeel, smooth finish with a slight hop bite. Flavor got my attention, first and foremost the balance between the hops and malt is superb. There is a fruitiness in the flavor that I can't quite grasp, kind of citrusy...lemon I think, just a touch to draw my attention. The bittering hops quickly fade into that smooth finish. Good session Pale Ale, all around decent drink.

Poured a slight golden color and had a decent citrus aroma. The taste was hoppy and with a decent bitter finish. Good pale ale but I think that these are pretty common right now and this one didn't stand out.
