Pours with a golden body topped by a very thick, lasting, white head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly sweet yet floral and grassy. Medium bodied and dry.

Bottle: Poured a deep slightly hazy golden color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some pretty nice lacing. Aroma of Belgian yeast with nice refreshing floral malt notes. Taste is also domination by some nice floral Belgian malt with some nice attenuation from the yeast. Body is slightly too light for the style with some great carbonation. Very well done for the style with lots of character and definitely something I would wish to try again.

Pour was orange and the head totally out of control. Took like 10 minutes to get it into the glass. Aroma was barnyard funky. More funk, less sweet than the Grisette saison...much better. Perfect balance of fruity, funky and hoppy. Carbonated mouthfeel, maybe a tad too much. Good example of style.

I had Sly Fox Saison Vos bottled. It poured a nice golden color with a huge head. Not sure if the explosive head was due to storage or bottling. Once the head settled down, it had a very crisp citrusy taste with a note of orange peel. This was a good saison, and my company agreed.

This saison pours a light gold color from a 22 oz special ’wedding gift’ bottle, shared by Eric at O’Brien’s. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is slightly spicy, somewhat fruit and sweet. A medium bodied saison. Malts are fruity and sweet, slightly spicy. Sweet and spicy, somewhat floral, with a touch of pepper. Light and refreshing beer. Nice saison. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Poured a golden color with a nice white head, didn't leave much lacing. Aroma was of citrus, and a little grass. Flavor was or citrus little grass as well and some hops. Good Good beer.

Poured a golden yellow color with amber hues. The head was initially outstanding and laced while subsiding before even drinking. Great lacing was observable during the whole drink and remained at least until the waitress took my glass. The aroma was sweet and floral. The flavor was sweet and malty (some caramel-like and very light grassy flavors), but had a light bitterness underneath - almost like a tripel. The finish was accented by a hop flavor (American?) that wasn’t typical of the style. Intersting, but a bit a bit odd. Mouthfeel was a little thick but not overly carbonated. A nice beer, but inferior to Hennepin if you’re looking for something that is good but on the border of the style.

Light gold color with an earthy, barnyard aroma with malt and spice. The taste was a bit sweet with some flavors of tangerine, dirt, grass, hops and spicy peppercorns. Sweeter than I care for.

Bottled, from the brewer, poured a gold color with a large rocky, white head, left some lacing on the glass. Aroma of tart citrus, yeast, possibly some musty barnyard as well. Taste of orange peel and yeast with a spicy dry finish. Also some citrus (lemon) was noticed in the taste. Man, this was awesome!
