This brew poured a light auburn with moderate off-white head that dissipated pretty quickly. The aroma is fresh light hops and a good amount of sweet malt. The flavor was toast and caramel. Moutfeel was thin. Overall, less than appealing.

7:45pm on 4/14/09 @ The Casa, me casa del Licko .. pours a light tan colour .. medium foam ... . anyone who watches My Boys on tbs is gay or a vegetable .. . muddled and pretty lacking .. . on a hot day maybe, but at just above freezing, the best thing about this beer is the label .. actually very painful to drink, makes me want to vomit... i might actually after gulping down the last 6 ounces... garbage.. not well made, an insult to my being .. me farting - by Chopin

Aroma of some fruity hops and earth. Amber body with thin off white cap, some lace left behind. Flavors of fruity hops (a little), caramel amlts, and earth. Overall it was drinkable but not great.

On draft at Flagstaff Brewing. Pours a snore-fest orangey amber color, decent initial head, weak retention, ok lacing. The aroma was caramel and caramel. The flavor was caramel, some faint mixed nuts and fruity elements, semi-dry lightly hopped finish. Everything about this was moderate to light (flavor, aroma, mouthfeel), weak, not bad, just not enough character to impress (but SKA hasn't done that for me at all yet, so...).

This was better than I thought it would be with its bargain basement label. Dumped out an average sized big bubble head that floated on this amber beer. A little hoppy and a bit on the sweet side this stuff. Smell and taste were caramelish....it did get my mouth watering initially, but Pin Stripe turned out to be average all around. Nice smooth feel.

Orange amber color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, toffee and slightly sweet. A medium bodied amber. Malts are fruity, caramel and toffee. Mostly sweet. Hops are mild and slightly spicy. A sweet and earthy amber. Mild flavors, perhaps a little watery, but for an amber its fairly tasty. For the lack of a better term it seems very neutral in taste and balance. Not boring, but neutral. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Beav pretty much said all there is to say about this, except the skunky aftertaste, which I didn't detect. I did perceive it as a barely better than acceptable ale, though. It struck me mostly as a "tourist beer", with a funky label to catch your attention. Buy this one only if you're a collector.

Poured light amber, almost yellowish-orange with a smallish head with big bubbles that quickly dissipated except for slight traces. Slight caramel, hoppy smell. Bland tasting, with a slightly fruity initial flavor and a hoppy finish and a kind of skunky aftertaste. Overall, I wasn't too impressed by this. It's definitely not what I'd consider a red ale, more like a pretty poor amber ale.
