i was excited to see a totally new beer at the brewery, but it's nothing worth writing home about. slightly better than average pale ale. nice flavor and hoppy aroma...slighly malty aftertaste.

pours a clear yellow amber with a thick white head. aromas are nice and very floral. pine citrus and hops are the main aromas. taste is very smooth with a small bitter end. flavors are malty ,citric and hoppy all in good balance. a very nice brew

I just love that psssssst sound as the cap pops off. It's almost as if the sound has a crispness all its own. The beer follows suit. Very, very tiny bubbles wander their way through this slightly opaque, copper-colored ale. I like the hop combination here a lot. It's not terribly bitter, but instead blends very nicely with the malty bits. The balance is actually rather striking. The foamy head slowly subsides into a thin little layer. It leaves almost no aftertaste, bitter or otherwise. Just when I thought the American Pale Ale wasn't a style worth drinking...

This is an attractive beer -- somewhat hazy, golden body with a respectable head. Good lacing, and that always makes me smile. The aroma was rather weak, but I could detect the malts and hops. The flavor was more malty than I like, or I guess I could say that I'd like more hops. Either way, the flavor isn't very strong; a quaffable beverage, yet not too exciting. Rogue has much better offerings than this, so I'd probably choose one of those the next time.

Surprised by this one. Poured a light brown color with okay head and good lacing. Aroma was of caramel malts and hops. Flavor was much more maltier then i expected for this style finished with a pine hops. Good beer.

Poured a slight orange-brown color, much darker than the usual pale ale color. The head was decent and lacing pretty good. The aroma was hoppy with caramel malts. The caramel malts were stronger than usual for a pale ale. The hopping was of pine and light citrus and herbal qualities. The mouthfeel was moderate for the style, very drinkable overall. Again, the caramel was overplayed for the style, but good overall.

hazy gold, small head hangs around. Somewhat aggressive carbonation. Clean taste, crisp, mild hops are not the typical west coast varieties. still very much an APA.....tastes are grassy, rye toast, orange. Low bitterness that works well overall just to balance a delicate sweet. Slightly dry finish along with the yeast sediment.

Aroma - citrus and hops. Flavor - piney, spicy, hops and malt, well balanced. Like Pk, I drank from the bottle so I can't really rate appearance. Very good beer.

Poured a hazy orange color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, lemongrass, perfume, and light caramel malt. Taste of spices, vegetal, fruity, sticky malt, and a bitter finish.

Medium gold color, medium head. Aroma is floral hoppy. A medium bodied pale ale. Citrusy and somewhat dry. A crisp and light, lighter tasting pale ale. Very drinkable. Nice flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is a little bitter and somewhat citrusy. Etched/painted beer bottle. A % of the proceeds go to support the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
