Our first born. Confident. Classy. Well-balanced. It's on the ruby side of amber, with an aromatic bouquet that's engagingly nutty with fresh fruity notes. Expect a distinctive toasted malt character and a thick, creamy, fine-textured head. Just enough of a fleeting aftertaste to make your taste buds smile in appreciation.

Big Bottle. Little Beer. There really wasn't a whole lot to like about this beer. It pours a clear amber with a thin white ring of a head. The aroma is weak sweet malt, some floral tones, and some skunkiness. The flavour is weak as well, some sweetish tones with a weak bitter finish. Not worth another bottle.

The beer poured a beautiful translucent red colour with a thin foamy tan coloured cap that stuck around a while. The aroma is weak with some floral hoppy tones. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and amply carbonated. The flavour is dry roasted malt, with a little bit of a hoppish bitterness in the finish. Okay, but far from outstanding. -

Purchased on my last trip to Toronto. Pours a clean dark amber colour with a foamy beige head that leaves decent lacing, and a nice coat on the brew. Very well carbonated. The nose is pretty hoppy with small malt undertones. Watery mouthfeel with a little stickiness to it. The taste is not as pronounced as I would of expected, but the hop is clearly present with a some malt that is refreshing like apples and caramel. Very light though. An average amber ale, laking a bit of punch for a micro.

Pours a nice amber colour (I'd think so!) with considerable carbonation. Pretty good head that stuck around for some time. Pretty attractive looking. Hops come through very well in the aroma, nice and clean. Flavour is equally clean, with some bite from the hops. Body is dominated by the amber malt. I'm not a huge fan of this style but this beer does a decent job. Though I can't find too much to complain about I still did not really enjoy this beer.

650mil bomber...pour revealed a crystal clear amber beer with copper tones....hard pour gave a fluffy white cap that stacked out of the glass and reduced to a sticky lace. Fair nose..understated...wisps of apple, caramel, musty pine. Medium light body..wet.. hop pronounced...malts are sufficient but sit slightly in the background....smooth prompt finish is hoppy with slight musty- bread after taste...a nice light amber ale...good ingredients and very drinkable...get it as fresh as possible...nothing stands out but this is underestimated as a session ale...this is the second beer this brewery makes I consider understated and drinkable....if you like smooth quality drinkable micros this is your brewer who delivers standard micro taste with drinkability...but no surprises...session beers all the way.
