Now called Milwaukee Brewing Company. Pours a darker golden amber with a 2 finger head that stays for a bit. Lightly carbonated. Aroma is of apple cider, cookie dough and malts. Taste is slightly metallic and dry with hints of malts. A tad watered in taste but creamy in texture. Finishes off dry and sticky. Nothing to write home about but drinkable.

Had this a Nikki's Lionhead in DePere, a great bar and place where you might see Packers,,,This was surprising to find on tap and had a rich peaty flavor. Not too sweet, not to bitter and a dry finish. Great rich flavor and even had a hint of moss. If I was to choose an irish beer for St. Patty's by flavor alone this would be my choice.

Sampled from can, thanks to Phishpond! Pours dark copper with a thick off-white head and thick lacing. Sweet malty aroma with hints of dark fruit. Toasted/caramelized malts dominate the flavor. Some mild, spicy hops and a hint of dark fruit round off the flavor. Finishes clean as advertised. Solid beer.

Not too impressive overall. It looked good from the start but had no aroma or real flavor. Probably a decent beer to tip back a few and get drunk but other than that nothing really going on here.

Hopefully not my demise! This one from pfoxyjohn's stash. Clear amber orange pour with a thin head and very nice lazy lacing. Sweet malty aroma with some butterscotch and caramels, light nuts and ripe fruits, little hops. Flavor much like the aromas with a big nod to the malts; this one is easy and smooth with very little hops bitter. Thank you John - for a LOUIE beer.

A very unimpressive amber ale. Pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma was mostly malty (caramel, toffee) but with a hint of fruitiness. Taste is similar with just the slightest amount of hops evident.

This beer poured a slightly cloudy copper color with a head that dissapated quickly. It ad a very mild aroma with a malty flavor which showed a roasted backdrop. Had a firm mouthfeel.

Pours a nice amber body with a large head. Nice retention that brings back the froth again and again. Caramel, and fruit in the aroma and flavors of caramel as well. A pretty tastey brew, but a little too malty.

Dark copper body that is clear and pretty. There are only traces of a head on top. The aroma is darkly roasted walnuts with some bread crust. There is also some old tobacco and a hint of orange peels. The taste has some light grapefruit peels and roasted almonds. There is also some toffee and tobacco. A well made amber.

Poured an amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of buttery, toffee malt, straw, and light citrus hops. Lots of malt in this one, caramel and toffee, while finishing with citrus bitterness. Nothing special, but a quaffable session ale. Thanks hopdog!
